Cousins and Penix will definitely be in the brilliant bracket as this all plays out.

You left out one possible scenario for Cousins and Penix...Cousins balls out for two seasons, get the Falcons door of the SuperBowl, but not quite good enough to make it. The steering wheel is passed to Penix who hits the ground running and gets us over the hump. Can't leave that one off the board, if the other 3 are open for consideration.

To be honest Chase Young could be picked up in free agencies

I'm glad I'm not a fan of this team. They're throwing $ around, but without a plan. The Saints & Falcons have been like this for decades: ownership meddles in decision-making but doesn't seem to grasp the importance of defense & only seem to have strong ones by accident.
Morris as HC is...? Unknown. (I'm not going to use past failures to say he can never succeed). Cousins would be great - -*if he wasn't injured!* Guaranteed $ handed over without even checking out the tire pressure on this used car. "What could possibly go wrong?"
Mooney? Moore? "I'll take guys who have trouble making the roster on teams with no depth at this position for a thousand, Alex." What *is* this?
Their ceiling is 11 & I'm being generous. While Cousins was just finally getting past his inability to keep his cool under duress he still works better when the offense is designed to the Last Detail. He threw 2 INTs _during_ the record-breaking comeback against the Colts because he threw to where the WR was supposed to be but JJ sat those plays out & he didn't even look.
Do the Falcons even know this about him? It's like Russ in Denver. He has (pardon the pun) shortcomings, but either is or pretends to be unaware of them. As a result, Payton had to scheme around them once he figured this out. But Russ never warned Hackett.
As a result Hackett never had a chance _TO_ scheme what would work for Russ. Cousins likely doesn't realize himself why things worked for him in MIN.
This team, is spending *way* too much $ just to remain mid & honestly, what other division would we even think they _might_ win? The Eagles, Bills, & that's it for the Weakest Contenders in other divisions. & they *_STILL_** didn't* fix their defense.

First off, thank you for watching the video and commenting! Yes I believe it’s a brilliant move solely as far as depth. He still has a lot left in the tank to be a quality backup

The Falcons made some good moves and some bad moves. The worst move was giving Raheem Morris another chance to be a head coach. Awful hire that will cost them the NFC South and any chance to make the playoffs.
