- In this video you will learn to identify the 7 natural (A,B,C,D,E,F,G) by EAR .Practice this exercise twice a day and you will be identifying these 7 notes within 3 weeks. A little hard work goes a long way. You've Got This!!!
No joke, this just changed my life! I've always been able to play by ear but COULD NOT tell you what the notes were BY NAME just from hearing. I could always find the tone though. This was a BRILLIANT video to listen to and learn from. Repetition is key... I've watched it once through and have already improved massively. Thanks so much!! PLEASE do more! I'm your 2nd subscriber haha!

Iam an indian
So namste sir,❤
For a while, I keot mixing up A, F & G, but the concept of overtone helped me learn to recognize the difference.
My understanding of an overtine is that it's the sound you'll hear after you press a key AND hold it. If there's barely any overtone, it's at the certain end of the scale. If there's a lot of overtone, it's a the certain other end of the scale.
If you're struggling to recognize the different notes, pay attention primarily to the overtones, and you'll notice the difference!
F is so dull, C so boring, E so bright, D so shy, A so straight, B so closed, G so middle.
Good stuff, Thanks a lot
