  • Meet Paul Weaver, an Amish man who does deep relief carvings as a hobby. He starts with a solid piece of butternut wood (laminated) and uses saws, knives, chisels, and Dremels to create a stunning scene. On average, a carving takes him three months to complete, although he doesn’t work on them full time. He created around 60 carvings, 26 of which are available to the public for viewing at Lehman's in Kidron, Ohio. He is there, in person, on the 4th Saturday of every month from 9:30 am to 2 pm if you want to meet the artist.

I love a real wood working shop, the smells are wonderful the tools kept in perfect individualized location. So all you have to do is reach for it and it's there. Beautiful shop! Thank you for sharing.

Would love to come see you in person - any chance you’d be working on something I could observe?

Great work. Kill the music and bring the camera in closer.
