My 1981 Yamaha XJ650H cruiser has a 4H base headlight. I appreciate your skill and talent shared here, but there's no way I would risk my life on a DIY LED headlight. Granted, the headlight for my bike is hard to come but but I'll stick with manufactured items.
Cleanly arranged👍🏼 No offense I would not recommend it as DIY H4 unless it is tested on scooter/car. I made one just recently but it ended up burning the resistors
I've been researching about diy led headlights and depending on the way they are connected parrallel/series i get recommended to use a resistor with higher value then what a circuit calculator saids.
Too much effort and result will be very little. The LEDs will become hot in a few minutes and burn out. You need thick heat sink. I am sure your next attempt will be closer to perfection.
I carefully saw the Leds and they didn't seem to have the silver coated base that are found on 1 watt and up Leds so they would be ok if those resistors are 470 ohms they wouldn't bright up that much and heat up i've tried that on some projects.
Oh wait they did have the base under each of the leds but still those resistors if they are 470 0hms each they don't let the leds heat up because they don't get that much bright.
@@sankyppp I've done something similar as a project but as i said in my last comment the 470 ohm resistors don't let the leds get to bright but i change thise 470 ohm resistors to 330 ohms and the leds did bright up a little more but still needed a good heatsink like New led headlight bulbs
