Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) seems to have never went away - been operating in/around Idlib since their inception in 2017. Idlib is not under Syrian control. As one of the first governorates to join the 2011 uprising against Assad, control over Idlib city fluctuated for several years between the government and rebels, until rebel armed groups managed to gain full control in 2015. The shooting down of the Russian airplane took place in November 2015. In fact, it was the main grievance presented by Patriarch of Moscow Kirill in denying to participate in the Oecoumenic/Ecumenic Orthodox Synod of 2016 (the agenda of which, as well as the decisions had been all been prepared and agreed over, following twenty years of preparatory consultation between the Patriarchates and the other autocephalous churches), claiming that he could not attend a synod in a City occupied by the Turks. What do the Turkish people think of all his games? Turkish involvement in Syria? He is as trustworthy as the US, not at all. The world getting off the US ship, how does “enough is enough” unfold for Erdogan?
he didn't present it as an argument, or take it as a premise to base a syllogistic deduction upon it. He just presented it as a trivial observation hinting to "the point is not them knowing or not knowing that he's double faced". I agree that this analysis lacked a considerable lot, but this observation wasn't substantial.
So they are just going to leave Idlib as is? Then repeat the whole process again in the future. Why don't they ever follow up with the logical next question? By the way it was Russia that pushed for the cease fire. How did they work out?
Missing a couple of points: 1-Erdoğan’s policy does not reflect or defend TR’s national interests. It is rather a complex mixture of Islamic Brotherhood, personal fantasies, weird historical interpretations and etc. 2-RF did not swallow the airplane shooting incident. It killed 34 TR soldiers due to a “mistake”. 3-Closing of Dardanelles was an advantageous condition of Montreux Convention 1936. A perfectly well balanced agreement from Atatürk’s times. This is used first time after almost 85 years. 4-Shooting down Russian plane and killing of Russian Ambassador in Ankara were both actions by Fetullah’s sect, little to no influence from Erdoğan himself. 5-The analysis relies on the assumption that Ru-Western relations would improve in fast paced manner, a more incremental version or even a long cold “ceasefire” is also possible.
The Aleppo loss by the Syrian Arab army showcases that Assad was clueless & he is not competent at geopolitical level. He should have been active in securing Aleppo from the start moreover when Erdogan left while he gave speech in Arab League. It shows he is not far sighted & doesn't prepare for future. He heavily relies on Iran & Russia which is not a good sign.
Armistice stipulation was that Aleppo will be " arms free " city. Did not work well foe Assad. Traitors everywhere. US dollar still seems to be working there. And shekel as well.
While "Turkiye becomes less important," it'll face stranger demands from the West’s desperation that it can neither fulfil nor even wish to. It'll be interesting to see how NATO reacts to its loose screw.
Cyprus 🇨🇾 would welcome Putin and the Russian federation ? Imagine the Russian Federation moving onto the north of Cyprus and starting a resort paradise. Wouldn't that start a party.
In order for Cyprus to welcome the Russian federation, Cyprus should be convinced that the leverage Turkey has on Russia, would not entail Russia being indifferent or neutral towards the occupation of 38% of Cyprus territory by Turkey, or that Russia would not push Cyprus is conceding negotiations, such as it is about to press al-Assad to engage in. he didn't present it as an argument, or take it as a premise to base a syllogistic deduction upon it.
He just presented it as a trivial observation hinting to "the point is not them knowing or not knowing that he's double faced".
I agree that this analysis lacked a considerable lot, but this observation wasn't substantial.
This incursion has also now brought the jihadists out in the open without any cover that they originally had in Idlib.
It's Türkiye not Turkey . World will see the Power off Turkiye 😂
❤❤
War will never end.
North korea army in Syria
No trees to hide behind … hehe
Can't trust him. Full of hot air
Putin has been so soft in Ukraine vs. NATO, that Erdogan is emboldened
Love how he dramatizes ;)
So they are just going to leave Idlib as is? Then repeat the whole process again in the future. Why don't they ever follow up with the logical next question?
By the way it was Russia that pushed for the cease fire. How did they work out?
Syria 🇸🇾 asked Egyptian 🇪🇬 authorities ‘s help 🥲🙏
Missing a couple of points:
1-Erdoğan’s policy does not reflect or defend TR’s national interests.
Erdogan's policy DEFINITELY reflects Turkey's national interests.
Want to bet a lot of those not moderate not rebels are equipped with a lot of weapons that started out in ukraine?
Carl Zha stated that US A10's are strafing Iraqi forces coming to help
As if Iraq has not endured enough....
Erdogan wants those juicy F35s so they can reverse engineer them.
you could say Erdogan is a jive turkey.
☑️☑️☑️☑️💯
While "Turkiye becomes less important," it'll face stranger demands from the West’s desperation that it can neither fulfil nor even wish to. It'll be interesting to see how NATO reacts to its loose screw.
Russia thought with everything it does it'd make America angry but all I see is America laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Turkey and Israel brothers in arms
Cyprus 🇨🇾 would welcome Putin and the Russian federation ?
Imagine the Russian Federation moving onto the north of Cyprus and starting a resort paradise. Wouldn't that start a party.
In order for Cyprus to welcome the Russian federation, Cyprus should be convinced that the leverage Turkey has on Russia, would not entail Russia being indifferent or neutral towards the occupation of 38% of Cyprus territory by Turkey, or that Russia would not push Cyprus is conceding negotiations, such as it is about to press al-Assad to engage in.
Elementary.
Erdo-gun jumped the gun:) Now comes the wrath of Satan
