旭山動物園のライオン
2018年に1歳で来園したオリト。
2021年に同じく1歳で来園したイオとペアリング、2022年9月に3頭のかわいいメスライオンが誕生した。
親子同居は他の動物園では珍しい。
2023年、娘のイトは円山動物園に移り、現在は親子4頭で暮らしている。
Lion at Asahiyama Zoo
Orito came to the zoo in 2018 at the age of 1.
Paired with Io, who came to the zoo in 2021, three lovely female lions were born in September 2022.
Parent and child living together is a rarity in other zoos.
In 2023, daughter Ito moved to Maruyama Zoo, where she is now living with four other animals.
