My favorite remixes are absolutely ones like these - less of a remix and more of a reimagining, taking the original song and bringing it to entirely new places. Thank you for creating this.

@@eggflavouredegg02 Well the subscriber count jumped from 22 to 32 and the views increased from around 900 to 1667 since I commented 4 hours ago, so I think it just got kickstarted by the algorithm a little late - it's getting hella traction now!

Basically rewriting an entire track from scratch while ensuring just the right balance between new and old material is super hard and something I've always struggled with and oh my fucking god you managed to strike that balance perfectly. Not sure if this was even intentional, but in addition to the composition and arrangement, the sample choices and the rough mix/master give this song so much character, like a distinct identity of its own next to the already stellar original.
I'm sorry to MasterSwordRemix but this is literally just better than the original in almost every way. The buildup and tension, the instrumentation, the inclusion of entirely new leitmotifs which only enhance the weight of the piece, I could go on for hours in just how many ways this improves upon the original. The only thing I could see not lining up is that this feels a lot more cinematic while the original is more of a fight piece, and at times during the fight I could see dissonance creeping in between the music and what's on screen, but that is frankly of little importance. Amazing work.

You said it, this is more of a cutscene theme, not a fight theme. Ceroba is a final boss, ergo MSR's original is better for the game, even though musically, this wins by far.

this is the best Mother's Love remix in the whole youtube, since this just doesn't modify notes and add new instruments to them, you added even your own notes, you made it like you actually made A Mother's Love, and in my opinion, this is the best thing you can ever achieve! Like Undertale Yellow ! If it had all the bosses in Undertale nobody would be this amazed, this game was it's own thing, just like this remix

Oh, I absolutely love the way you sneaked the Your Best Friend / Finale leitmotif into the backround melody at 2:19-2:42 and 3:30-3:53! Honestly my favourite remix of A Mother's Love, definitely got me to subscribe - keep it up! ^^

This is amazing! I've listened to this around 5 times as of writing this. I think this is what remixes should be like, still being the same style and being recognizable as a remix of the original, but still bringing their own ideas in.

oh hell yes another bangin remix from musicians with like 4 subscribers. (cracks knuckles because you're the second absolutely amazing musician with like 3 subscribers i've seen this year)
so this is, for lack of a better word, fucking awesome. it manages to keep the important bits of a battle song (that being making the listener feel excited) while simultaneously being completely different. the intro piano tickles my brain bones SO MUCH it's kind of insane. as the song progresses, it stays calm but emotional. asriel's theme jumpscsre btw. but there's not a lot of time to react to that (not saying it's bad though) because it leads right into the starlo's theme callback. something interesting is that that part is te closest to the original song before calming down again and once again we have that wonderful piano soundfont. we then go into a wonderful overdrive guitar segment. im not entirely sure how i feel about his part because it sounds a little too much like a pokémon song but the synth section after it is absolutely wonderful. again we have the brain bones-tickling piano which i just love so much. the weird ass synth sounds wonderful after the starlo reprise, and the asriel's theme into justice literally made my shed a tear in real life what the fuck.
overall. an absolutely banger reimagining of this song. not entirely sure what you were going for with the overdrive guitar section but that's my singular gripe. i absolutely adore that piano soundfont and i don't think many songs (except for what, duet and mother 3 love theme?) have made me cry in real life
