Really, you need to pay more attention to the things Shaky has said in past years. I have been a huge fan and follower of Shaky since the late 70's, I have never seen an interview where he claims to be fan in that context. He has said many times that he respects Elvis a lot, Elvis isn't even listed in his top influences - you should look that up, and yes he did play Elvis before his big break, he played the role for 19months, but that dosen't make him an Elvis impersonator. After he finished Elvis, he ended up with a record contract with CBS/Epic. Nothing Shaky recorded in the 80's sounded like Elvis at all, and as i said in my earlier post, having similiar hair and dance moves does not make him an impersonator. If that was the case, stars like Cliff, Marty Wilde, Ricky Nelson would all of been classed as Elvis impersonators, as they all had styles similar to that of Elvis, Oh by the way, hold 2 pictures together of Shaky & Elvis, their not remotely alike!!

Shaky always wore white shooes on stage, I don't think it matters. Is it any different from him wearing white shoes with a suit?, he always did that, and looked cool Af!, As did Elvis in the early days for that matter!
