Stealing is haram. However stealing from Orphans is far worse in Islam.
Unless if you are hungry and need to steal food to survive, I think it's permitted.

However I'm certain that Islam is one of the most understanding, accepting of Religions in the whole world, where Allah has given so much flexibility to the human and all their needs according to their situation. We're talking about if you're in the middle of the desert, and you're starving, and there's no other way, and you see a pig, the only thing that's present to eat, it is 100% permitted to eat that pig. However one needs to understand that situation would be an "Azaab" or "punishment" in itself. For you to be in such a situation where you must steal, or eat a pig to survive, you should straighten your priorities and realize what you have done to be in that situation. Rethink, pray to God, repent as you realize that you are being given punishment, and it should be extremely alarming for you, a wake up call, that you should straighten your ways, so that you never be in such a situation ever again. That is what Islam is. Forgiving.

رواه الترمذي(1) وكذلك أبو داود والنسائي وابن ماجه وأحمد
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said:
Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says: The first of his actions for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, then he will have prospered and succeeded: and if they are wanting, then he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, the Lord (glorified and exalted be He) will say: See if My servant has any supererogatory prayers with which may be completed that which was defective in his obligatory prayers. Then the rest of his actions will be judged in like fashion.
It was related by at-Tirmidhi (also by Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and Ahmad).

It's just more major if you're stealing from an orphan. Just as accusing anyone of adultery (or anything bad at all) is Haram, but it's even worse in the scenario provided.

Another thing about Haram number 1.
The Quran says "whoever kills 1 person unjustly it is as if he has killed the whole of mankind and whoever saves 1 person is as if they have saved the whole of mankind."
5,32 is directed to the children of Israel:
*Quran 5,32*
For that cause We decreed *for the Children of Israel* that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and who so saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth.
And its not the words of God but copied from a rabbinic commentary only...
*Jerusalem Talmud, Sanhedrin 4:1 (22a):*
“Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.”
Now lets read the next verse:
*Quran 5,33*
Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that *they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land.* That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,
*Tafsir ibn Kathir on 5,33*
(The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land.) *`Wage war' mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief,* blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways.
This verse from the Quran may be similar to what the Torah or Bible teaches because Islam is a continuation and completion of the religion of God. We as Muslims must and do believe in all of the Prophets from Adam(pbuh) to Muhammad(pbuh) including Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus - peace be upon them all.

Hey, I just wanted to shed some light on "Jihad" as a lot of people think "Jihad" is killing in the name of Allah for example the Sept 11 incident. I would like to clarify that "Jihad" in simple terms is basically "Self Discipline" or "Self-control". To fight against the "Evil self" when it tells you to do something wrong in any way, shape, or form. As mentioned in this episode, killing in Islam is strictly forbidden to those who think Jihad is just bombing and killing people, I hope this straightens things out for you.

This is the second part of the testimony which someone testifies when he becomes muslim and it is the core believe to be a muslim. However, as you said, it is none of your business. While it is Haram, you're also supposed to lower your gaze, not go and judge others. So, in short, Muslims shouldn't be judging people who do act on it. Unjustly or cruelly judging people is also Haram, and for good reason. The problem is, many Muslim's still criticize others unjustly when they shouldn't, and claim that it's just "advice" even when it's demeaning. Advice has to be given respectfully, and in a way that can be clearly read.

We can eat pork (Jesus fulfilled the old testament ceremonial laws when He was crucified) and we can drink alcohol as long as we don't get drunk. Everything else you said was correct tho. I do, (my profile pic is really old) but mostly only Orthodox Christians cover their hair and some Catholic. **some Christians especially Orthodox do not eat pork but it is allowed**
