Great video! You probably know this but you have a fair amount of modulation in the case: Pam's can do LFOs (and envelopes?), Mimetic unused channels are good random CB, and gates from unused channels on Steppy (edit the gate length) are cool accents if used on an interesting CV input.
This. Had the same issue with my old Ornament and Crime. It's because you can't use a usb cable meant only for charging. It has to be one that allows transferring data
If that fails install Zadig and use it to try different USB drivers. When you're connecting to embedded systems like the Teensy, they can be far more picky about exactly which USB driver they'll work with, and Windows might have had its defaults switched when you plugged something else in.
It looks like you might be using the incorrect software instance to upload to the teensy, that looks like a teensy4. Earlier versions have much smaller firmware upload limits due to their flash size. Make sure that you use the correct version for the hardware and check all connections. Eg. That you are receiving serial data over USB. Reasons why you might not be able to upload firmware: 1. Bad connection / noise 2. Hardware not entering flash mode correctly 3. Incorrect software version 4. Incompatible / corrupt flash file 5. Incorrect serial baud 6. Damaged serial converter
I actually had Chainsaw in the case for a bit but I like the range that Osiris offers for this small system but Ill check out C4rbon and see how it goes!
@@kaawofficial C4RBN is seriously good. Optional Saturation + LP, HP, BP, and 4pole filter modes. The 4pole filter can be any of HP, LP, or BP but also adds a wave folder capability. Without the saturation the filter modes are clean, but resonance can go into self oscillation mode. Can do a decent 303/acid sound.
A tip on the Mimetic Digitalis: If you hold Load and then simultaneously press Zero it will zero the entire grid of 16 steps.
This is great! I haven’t seen many videos of people using small modular systems to actually make a track.
Great video!

With the Teensy issue, try a different USB cable. Also make sure you're using the latest version of Teensy loader

Thanks for all the info! I'll definitely be trying all of these tips out!

Missing you is easy cuz you're beautiful...
I think of it as "violent ruin" vee' ol ru ee' na
Looks awesome. But instead of the Osiris I wouldw gone with chainsaw from acid rain (3 voices in 4hp) and added like WMD's C4RBON (4hp filter) Cheers

Otherwise, you make some music sometimes ^^ …?
Waste of money.
