Ooh nice find Mike! Directly reminded me of the US college rock of the nineties and zeros. Kinda easy going / laid back vibes with a bite. :) If you're into such prog/alt rock bands from our part of the world you may wish to check out Leprous from Norway. Their performance of Slave at Rockefeller is really amazing. Another band that comes to mind is De Staat, the current top Dutch live act and a genre of their own. Their live gigs are outstanding and their discography very diverse and unique. May wanna start with Kitty Kitty. Another one is The Gathering, for which I already provided you a list of performances worth reacting to in my mail on Anneke. They paved a few subgenre ways and all their albums with Anneke (1995-2007) are on high par varying from doomy goth metal to atmospheric trip rock.
If you want to go to Norway than Bergen is the right place to start, its called the gateway to the fjords - - - the wardruna vocalist, Aurora and Sissels hometown ( the reaction you did with wardruna /aurora was in Bergen)..... Like your reactions, maybe Angelina Jordan with her new song million miles could be next..... This song reminded me of rock in the late 80's, loved it 👍👍👍
I'm Norwegian and have never heard of them. I going to look more into their music. Kind of remind me a little bit of Band of horses, especially the vocals. Great reaction, and thanks for introducing me to them.
