More Tim Hortons cut employee benefits over minimum wage increase

  • More Tim Hortons franchisees have cut employee benefits due to Ontario's minimum wage increase. In a statement, Tim Hortons says it's saddened to see its reputation put at risk by the actions of a handful of franchises. Franchisees can't choose to raise their prices to offset the wage increase, so instead, some of them have cut paid breaks and scaled back contributions to employee benefits.
