@@amangoyal7404 Most likely Allicent since you can see the blurred dagger off to the side, and it looks like she is holding someone back as she says it. Plus the scene of Alicent looking like she is ready to shank a bitch guarantees it to be her.

That first scene of Rhaenyra giving birth, all in one shot, was phenomenal. I was one who truly dreaded the leave of Milly and Emily, but Emma and Olivia indeed showed us why they were cast as the lead actresses.
Laena told Daemon she knew she wasn’t the one he wanted but I think Daemon truly loved and respected her more than he was willing to let on. His actions proved that: He was willing to stay in Pentos away from Westeros content with Laena, his two daughters , his unborn child and his books. He didn’t seem to be annoyed with her outside of her desire to go back to Westeros.
Eh, Larys was a moustache twirl away from being a complete joke of a villain. I'm liking the show a lot, but sometimes it really drops the ball. Making the Rhea and Harwin/Lionel deaths a little more open to interpretation would be more interesting, rather than just them being murdered and us knowing everything. They didn't set up any motivations for Larys to become a double kin slayer, and the last time we see Larys and Harwin together they are on good terms. Just a bit too quick a turn to completely evil mad man. Same with Criston in ep5, and the lack of justification for him going unpunished for murdering someone at the Princess's wedding is very infuriating for me personally. It's strange when they get other relationships and characterisations so good - and then some basics that could be explained with as little as one extra line of dialogue fall flat imo.
Episode 6 is a masterpiece indeed. I love the idea of it, everyone in this episode doing everything to protect their children. Viseris is wishfully blind to his daughter sins; Alisent is paranoid and fearful for her children; Strong is doing an honourable thing because of his son and literally dies with him for his sins; Rhaenira defends her children and moves to the Dragonstone... And Larys Strong says to it all: children are weakness. And he is right. Everything is about them, this is a natural order of life. All of them had made mistakes in sake of their children. And the war will be started because of them. Because of love. I admire the way this episode crafted.
Fuck! Laena Velaryon was absolutely fire and blood. She wanted to die as a dragonrider, and as much as it pains Vhagar, she still did it. It was an emotional epic scene😢🔥
Such a dumb scene..so she would rather die than be a mother to her daughters....all because of some bullshit honor. Made her look selfish and irrational.
Huge respect towards Laena for being this tough when their marriage is at its weakest. And shame on Daemon (at the moment) for choosing to stay instead of going back to their original faction.
Milly and Emily were fine, but Emma and Olivia are ACTING like their lives are on the line! This aint no silly high school shit anymore, and I'm glad to have some grown women who know what they're doing for what's about to come.
I think the 10 year time is a poor excuse to completely change the characters while still keeping the characters and their relationships relevant. I didn’t really buy Rheanarya as she’s so different. She was established as more outwardly defiant and daring compared to alicents who is more composed. So it’s so weird to see them basically doing the opposite where alicent is the one who is more forward and outright in her contempt while Rhaenarya is more subtle. Criston still being bitter about what happened ten years ago makes no sense. Daemon is really the only one who seems like the exact same character but with 10 years of time. A far more realistic depiction of time changing a person. A person and their beliefs, personality, and tics are all the same but it’s their motivations and desires that change. Something that literally hasn’t changed for any other character.
Honestly I was shocked by the child birth scene the most! The authenticity behind the whole experience….. the one small details in that whole scene was crazy. The after birth and her leaving trail of blood from just delivering her son.
That was all done to show how strong she is and that regardless of the situation she is going to rise to the occasion and make sure she protects her new born.
oh did that happen when you gave birth too? you walked out and trailed blood and afterbirth behind you? yeah it looked really harrowing probably the worst thing anyone could ever go through
@@johncra8982 There is no need to have the exact experience in order to identify with what is happening. Women continue to bleed days after giving birth so Rhaenyra's quick and sloppy dressing up would ensure that all that blood would continue to run down her legs. Of course walking out is not the common thing to do, but there are parts of childbirth that mothers rarely see depicted (or even hinted at), like the afterbirth and lochia.
The birth scene shows the difference between each brother and their love and respect for their wives. They were both faced with the same decision, and while viserys choose his son over his wife, daemon said no to the doctor, and let laena choose her own faith.
wt the hell are talking about?, in both the cases the mother was gonna die anyways, viserys did not have a choice of choosing his wife at all, it was both wud die or atleast try saving the baby
@@achinthyashabaraya5502 what you don’t understand is that it wasn’t their choice to make, it was laena’s and emma’s. Emma screamed while she died “viserys, no”. Laena specifically said earlier in the episode she wanted a dragon riders death.
@@achinthyashabaraya5502 In both cases the mother would die regardless, the difference is Viserys chose to kill his wife to potentially save his unborn 'son' that he had a gut feeling about. He murdered his wife as she screamed in terror and agony, pleading with her husband to stop while he just tries to console her that everything will be fine, then his son choked to death a few hours later. Daemon when asked the same question hesitates with the doctor, and begins to shake his head 'No'. Laena had heard the doctor speaking about potentially being able to save the baby if they cut it out of her, and she wouldn't survive it. She wanted to die a Dragonrider's death as she explained earlier in the episode and knowing Daemon she thought he would have said 'Yes' to the doctor. She couldn't see him from behind the wall so she didn't get the hint that he was going to say no to the request. She just took off to go die a Dragonrider's death.
that s not it , y all just wanna act like daemon is such a good guy lmao; i ll say both Brothers have the same level of love and respect for their wives; yes, viserys chose to at least try to save the son, but aemma would ve died anyways, and he s still feeling guilty about it years after it happened, he loved her and even in the last episode there was a scene where viserys was Alone in his room looking at his rings and crying (due to remembering aemma i assume?); daemon did have respect for laena and he probably loved her but the one he always wanted all this time was rhaenyra, and he s gonna marry her now that laena is dead; seriously You guys should stop acting like daemon is better than everyone else; there s not a single character in this story that has only positive traits

Man, this show is filled with quality material and performances. Even with the constant time jumps, we can still accompany the story so well. This last episode made me want to read the book again. Top tier television!
It's AMAZING the amount of work and care went into all the roles, some of which only last Ava episode or two. You care about them all the same. Unlike that other show
Great episode. Last scene with Larys and the queen was one of the best I'v ever watched. That horror in the queen eyes when she realizes she is in the presence of a monster.
I thought it was one of the weakest scenes in the whole series. Amazing how people can view it so differently. We've got far too little of Larys to be able to understand his motivation for double kinslaying. In ep5 he is clearly on good terms with Harwin. I think it's the worst written character in the show.
@@Neil-qg9cw Clearly on good terms with Harwin ? Where did you get that from ? They literally only had one conversation on screen, and it was just chit chat about Alicent and the Hightower colors. It does not necessarily mean they were close. Also, ten years have passed. Relationships change. Larys also stood to gain quite a lot by doing this. He's now Lord of Harrenhal. Obviously he's a psychopath, and we don't yet understand why. But it's not "bad" writing. We just don't know enough about him.
'Someone stole Vhagar'! Man, the scene, where Aemond is mocked by Aegon and his cousins about how he still has not bonded with any dragons yet, is so powerful because soon he'll be the rider of the largest dragon in Westeros. This scene is such a parallel portrayal of the chapter in the books where Maegor Targaryen was teased by Alyssa Velaryon about how even his niece, Rhaena Targaryen is riding the dragon, Dreamfyre now but he cannot. Maegor there answers shrewdly that there is only one dragon worth riding by him which later turns out to be the Black Dread, Balerion. Be careful when teasing a Targaryen about dragons!

I love the comments under this vid. Just wholesome and praising the show, especially the new cast. I loved Milly as Rhaenyra and Emily did a great job too, but Emma and Olivia are the original actresses for those roles as they were cast first, and in the last episode they just proved they're equally talented as the actresses that appeared before them.
I cried as Laena asked to be burned and the scene shifted into Harwin's leaving and eventual death... wow. Couldn't keep it in. That was powerful, emotional, sad. Evocative. What an episode.
At the end of it I was like "wow, that's undoubtedly game of thrones". All the politics, schemes, tension and of course the dramatic deaths happening just how it happened. Oh I missed it.
Brilliant episode and amazing writing When Harwin said to his baby boy Joffrey, 'I will be a stranger when we meet again' Laena choosing a dragon rider's death by having Vhagar burn her Rhaenyra saying you could bring him to Laenor, referring to his paramour And I hate Alicent's guts, major props to Olivia Cooke, AND Emma D'Arcy, both are forces to be reckoned with
Lady Laena's death was deep, seeing the look of sadness in Vhagar's eyes was heart wrenching. Layrs's littlefinger 2.0 strats will really be a game changer. Also I could have gone the entire show without that one Aegon scene. This show is really heating up now.
Targaryens are somewhat resistant to heat, as dany had the extremely scalding bath in ep 1 and didn't burn, although they can burn and die from fire as jon burns his hand on a lantern in season 1. In the books dany suriving the fire was considered a one off magical event because of the sacrifice and hatching of dragon eggs. D&D just decided for the show to change it from a one off magical event and make dany immune to fire all the time
She raped him with a power imbalance, even if he didn't hate the act itself during. Then he tried to make it official to maybe salvage the situation because she would be fine but he would be fucked forever if it was found out, but she dropped him after he didn't want to hang around as a side piece. Man doing that to woman, or woman doing that to man, still fucked up and not the worst reason to be upset at someone, especially in the time period and their difference in status. You don't have to like him but he's not some bitter shallow piece of shit with no justification for anything. He was going to kill himself for what he did before Alicent stopped him anyway.
The fact the Daemon & Rhaenyra both lose their lovers to fire in the same episode🔥 is such brilliant writing. It was a sad episode and it felt like a new Pilot for the show. I think HOTD is going to get bigger than GOT . New actors are brilliant

@@cristianbejarano1516 I was glad they showed that, as in the books, it was explained in the same way. Aegon didn't want to take the throne from his half-sister, but Alicant convinced him that if he did not, Rhaenrya would have him and his brothers killed. The irony here is that had Otto not convinced his daughter of the same thing, Alicant would not have become the vindictive bitch that she is. It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
@@MyUniqueVibe so true, people said that Alicent was a bad person, but she never planned to put her son on the throne until supporting Rhaenyra became toxic for her.
in fact, this is all the ambition of Otto Hightower. he pushed his daughter to the king, although it was better for her to find someone her age and live a happy married life. I'm very sorry for her.
I really like how they handled Laena’s death. In the books she gives birth but the child is malformed and dies an hour later. She does going to the beach to ride Vhagar one last time but collapses. Daemon then Carries her body back.

I felt sorry for Daemon the most for once. He had a peaceful life with his wife and two girls. He would never admit it, but he was content. Even though Lenea said she wasn't his first choice. He cared for her. What happens with his daughter's now?
they sail home. I'm guessing it was Laena funeral because she said she was long for home. Daemon probably took her ash back to Driftmark and let the girls meet their grandparents.
The girls are engaged to Jace and Luce. Baela was amazing and meant to be queen with Jace. Later they both survive the Dance and a source of comfort for their traumatised, depressed little brother Aegon 3 after he becomes king.
He was not content. He was depressed and longing for home (even Laena calls him out on that). Laena even mentions she knows she is not his first choice for wife.
The show deviates from the book with George R. R. Martin's blessings. And even what the show runners chose to show and what they chose to gloss over leaves a lot to individual interpretation because you're forced to fill in the blanks with your own imagination. I've read quite a few recaps and each one saw the Leana/Daemon marriage in different light. As for the future, ho knows what survives from the book? But you can be certain the heavily foreshadowed union of Rhaenyra and Daemon will happen.
It should come as no surprise that Emma D'Arcy & Olivia Cooke would totally smash it in their debut performances. Both actresses have done their homework and know their characters quite well. Cheers to them both!!
did they? it was pretty underwhelming... people already miss milly and young alicent. let's be honest, they deviated too much from GRRM's stories. house velaryon casting is another problem. smh.... terrible decision by hbo to "politicize" the casting.
Milly Alcock is the TRUE Rhaenyra, this new actress does not have the charisma and wittiness of Milly. We should start a petition and BRING BACK MILLY ALCOCK, she was such a good actress
@@blqest125 I don't have a problem with the Velaryon casting so much as their refusal to provide a logical in canon explanation for why these Velaryons look so different from other Valyrians. They should not have kept saying they were of "Pure Valyrian blood." That is canonically not true of either Velaryons or Targaryens. It would have made sense for Coryls' mother to be a princess from the Summer Isles. I would have liked her to be from the Huose of Xaq on the Isle of Koj, which has the greatest shipbuilding industry in the world (except maybe Braavos) and the best navigational charts. His grandmother could have been from the Summer Isles too, as the book never tells who either of them are, but his grandfather was the brother of Alyssa Velaryon. Alyssa was canonically pale with silver hair and blue eyes, inherited from her Massey mother. Alyssa was the mother of The Old King Jaehaerys and Good Queen Alyssane, as well as of Jocelyn Baratheon who was Rhaenys' mother.

@@batgurrl well that's because the real story / dance of dragons war happens when Rhaenyra and Alicent are older and have children... that's was always the point, in the show they expanded on their younger counterparts to add more depth and kind of a origin story for the MAIN story. that's why Emma and Olivia were casted first .
The fact that the book provides multiple differing accounts to certain key events definitely played in the show's favour in terms of what happened at the end of the episode. It's also great how they manage to weave all these disparate elements together. Yes, it would have been nice to see more of certain characters but those characters who remain a constant so far (Rhaenyra, Alicent, Viserys, Daemon) all turn out to be beautifully layered and intriguing creations.
This series has been exceeding my expectations each episode. You really have to be careful what characters you start getting attached to because you never know what will happen or how things will change.
The way Mr. bee and flower fellow was so casual about that cruel murder was absolutely chilling. From severing the tongues to keep them quiet... to forcing them essentially to murder others for their own lives... just, wow. What a villain. He's giving Miss Allic*nt a run for her money!
He's playing with a flower during the last scene, meaning that now that he has committed this act, he thinks that she is indebted to him or else he reveals that he did it for her benefit.
Emma D’arcy’s voice is really unique. It has a sense of calm even when there is rage under her tone. Which tbh is quite scary. I think she did great justice to the character of Rhynaera. Olivia cooke is also great. Now I am waiting for Daemon and Rhynaera to meet and become unbeatable together. Lady laena is dead and Laenor will probably die sooner or later and Harwin is already dead so the path for Daemon and Rhynaera is clear. I can’t wait for these two to ride their dragons and wreak havoc lol.
Watching this series. It reminds me when i was 16 years old, i was watching the original series of game of thrones. I believe i started to watch it during season 2. I was so hyped for each episode and being on time when it came out. But after the last two seasons, i started to lose that feeling. I kinda felt sad. This show is bringing back that god damn excitement. I was at the edge of my seat throughout the episode. :) cant wait to see more.
They lived up to what they teach in great writing where 'show don't tell' Even with very little words exchanged in scenes between Rhaynera and Harwin, you felt the strong affection just by their faces and movement. I didn't have to know the past 10 years on why she didn't care much if the boys had dark hair. For her choosing all her sons to be fathered by Harwin and let them be by their side it showed in the episode so beautifully without Rhaeynera and Harwin even talking about it or their relationship.
How do they keep knocking it out of the park with each passing episode? This is insane. And for the parts that are not described in Fire & Blood, Ryan Condal is making killer choices. Hat’s off to everyone in the writing room! Fucking awesome!!!
I wish we had gotten another episode of Laena, but then I remember there will only be a few seasons and we're still in the backstory for the real tale of this series. Still, Laena ordering Vhaegar to end her suffering was a visually impactful choice for a visual medium. Very symbolic.
Because HBO knows how to make a show. And they learnt from previous mistakes. They want this show to stand against legendary 4 seasons of got. And very good season 5-6. And trying to avoid the havoc of last 2.
Fire and blood doesn't tell you who causes the Harrenhal fire. I certainly didn't think Clubfoot was responsible considering his own brother and father are killed. That's Condal's shitty take from his reading.

Really enjoying HotD, but it does have it's flaws. The time jumps are skipping some good moments in the story, and it makes things feel slightly rushed (eg. it would have been nice to see some Harwin/Rhaenyra or Daemon/Laena scenes.) Criston going unpunished for his murder of Joffrey is senseless, and it's a bit too on the nose at times. Imo it would be better if certain murders were more ambiguous (Rhea, and Harwin/Lionel.) Larys comes across almost as comedic in how evil he is having been in barely any scenes, and with zero motivation or character development. I just hope they stick more to what is working - Rhaenyra, Alicent, Daemon, Corlys (also Viserys, but he's obviously not lasting much longer.)

Lucky for us there is complete source material and D and D can't completely ruin it like they did game of thrones.
It's strange when they get other relationships and characterisations so good - and then some basics that could be explained with as little as one extra line of dialogue fall flat imo.
it turned to crap. political drama show with a whining mother now.

Isn’t fire supposed not to affect Valyrian people? Why did it kill Laena if she had Valyrian blood and was a dragon rider?

@@stoneheart8231 I could not agree more.
AGREEED!
@@kylevernon How old are you? because i bet everybody here has completely changed there charakter from Teen years into there 30s.
This is legit the first birth scene that shows the woman delivering the placenta I have ever seen in film or TV
@@asooakeel off screen but we definitely hear it 😬
oh did that happen when you gave birth too? you walked out and trailed blood and afterbirth behind you? yeah it looked really harrowing probably the worst thing anyone could ever go through
@@johncra8982 There is no need to have the exact experience in order to identify with what is happening.
She just took off to go die a Dragonrider's death.
that s not it , y all just wanna act like daemon is such a good guy lmao; i ll say both Brothers have the same level of love and respect for their wives; yes, viserys chose to at least try to save the son, but aemma would ve died anyways, and he s still feeling guilty about it years after it happened, he loved her and even in the last episode there was a scene where viserys was Alone in his room looking at his rings and crying (due to remembering aemma i assume?); daemon did have respect for laena and he probably loved her but the one he always wanted all this time was rhaenyra, and he s gonna marry her now that laena is dead; seriously You guys should stop acting like daemon is better than everyone else; there s not a single character in this story that has only positive traits

and a monster im not 100% is on her side
It was not because of larys but because of the curse of harenhall. She insists that the judgement will be passed on larys and not her.

They will be raised by their grandmother I suspect. Maybe one of them will flirt with crossing to the other side because she feels neglected.

Even with very little words exchanged in scenes between Rhaynera and Harwin, you felt the strong affection just by their faces and movement. I didn't have to know the past 10 years on why she didn't care much if the boys had dark hair. For her choosing all her sons to be fathered by Harwin and let them be by their side it showed in the episode so beautifully without Rhaeynera and Harwin even talking about it or their relationship.
The way this show always leaves me desperate for more. Cannot wait for what's to come.
@@kenmasters1803 yeah it was really stupid 4 random guys can sneak into a castle and burn lord's keep, if that's the case what's the point of a fucking castle
@@TheDeepestbluest I don't think they just randomly walked in the front gates, they would have been given info on secret passageways by Larys Strong. I'd say he knew his way round his ancestral home.
Ever since this show started, they made me go from liking Alicent to doubting her to feeling bad for her to hating her and then starting to like her again and then back to hating her. I've never had so many conflicted feelings about a character before.. LOL..
Omg same lmao
it is easier to hate viserys than any other, he was so weak and complacent, making the baddest and dumbest decisions and dreaming a world of marvels as the pussy slave daemon once said it
hahah same tho for me she always left the door open for sympathy
I feel the same with Rhaenyra.
Bravo Emma and Olivia 👏👏👏
Am i the only one who has his heart broken about harwin strong's death 😢, he would've played a major role in the story being the strongest man in westeros , such a great character 😔 💔 😢
Emma just nailed Rhaenyra 🔥🔥🔥
That opening scene was incredible. Incredibly well directed, and Emma carried it the whole way through.
For real. Emma deserves an Emmy nod just for that first few minutes alone.
0:23 we love how Daemon is treating her kids as his own, just tucked into him 😭
well, why shouldn't he? They are kids of his dearest niece (even if to forget that he's in love/desires her), they are true Targaryens at least because they already linked to dragons. And they are children of about the same age his girls are (and if they'll follow the books, Lucerys and Jacaerys will be betrothed to Baela and Rhaena.
Eventually he and Rhaenyra will raise all their children together without much of the difference between them, I think (although the show so far changed it because Daemon doesn't pay much attention to Rhaena which is kinda not in character for him)
@@depressed_firefly I know, I have plans to read the books too and have read tons of spoilers already. I'm just simping for Daemon lmao
Yeah, I kept replaying that part lol
So far one of the best first seasons of TV I've seen for a while.
Oh by each episode this show is growing darker and darker. What an amazing writing. And the amount of material in this episode didnt let us miss the younger actresses even though they were so good.
I didn’t want them to kill Harwyn. He was too cool.
I loved it though 😅

He was an absolute MVP
Emma D'arcy acting wow 100/100 on the next ep
"Some one stole vhaygar" I got goosebumps there .....
this ep was so good the acting was breathtaking
"I'm not the Step-father.. I'm the father who stepped up.", Daemon.
Absolute hype. The last episode was awesome. Larys is playing the perfect game.
I loved that There is no good or bad in HOTD universe. Aegon was a good boy untill his mother changed him. Alicent was good untill her advisor and her situation changed her. I didn't think I would hate criston Cole so bad and so soon. It's going to be awesome journey
My wife on 1st ep was like oooh I like criston! And I told her how much I hated him lol although I already know the whole story.
Ser Incel the... Wait it hasn't happened yet.
I keep being surprised at how well developed Rhaenyra and Alicent are as human beings. Alicent clearly turned into a "villain" this episode, but from the perspective of a woman groomed into paranoia by a manipulative father who just deeply fears for her children's future, we can understand her actions. I also appreciate seeing Rhaenyra growing into her role as heir at long last.
Alicent is still good. She's done her duty and stayed faithful to her king and produced true borns meanwhile the hoe with an entitlement issue is upset people are calling out the obvious. If anyone is a villain it is rhaenerya
"I loved that There is no good or bad in HOTD universe"
Did you not see Larys Strong?
@@awesimo4684 I am talking in terms of big picture. Like Green and Black teams. Not as an individual
Me every episode: “The king is dying this episode”
The next episode: The king has two less limbs.
🤣🤣I thought I was the only one thinking this. I'm like....yep.... he's going to die this episode. Episode ends. Well maybe the next one. Next ep. Still alive....me: 😒
each episode gets better than the last. it’s absolutely nuts. my obsession with this show is UNREAL
Emma and Olivia were amazing in this episode a really powerfull and strong arrival!!!
Idk about everybody else but what happened to Harwin and his father was not karma for his transgressions with the princess! It was a tragic MURDER by someone they called BROTHER AND SON!!! All because he wanted to make sure the queen knew he was loyal to her and that nothing would cloud his judgement not even his FAMILY💔
lol no its karma. Harwin got exactly what was supposed to happen to him in getting executed. Lyonal took it a step further so he could inherit harrenhall and get rid of his lying dad and gain allicents trust.
@@HybridxProject oh boy harrenhal is not what larys after. 😂. There's much bigger shit he want
harwin gave rhaynera 3 kids that big time execution
Larys, little finger, Tywin, and Varys, all in one timeline, would have been immaculate 😂😂😂
"Old gods or new, it makes no matter, no man is so accursed as the kinslayer."
Leanas death by vhagar was a great change from the books, I'm glad she went out that way. In the books she died just trying to ride vhagar one last time.
How is that physically possible? The dragon cock would not fit
This series is going way way better than expected
"I should have been there" These should be your house words
Someone get this on T shirts
That was perfection, wasn't it?
This show just get better and better

No. You will enjoyed this show only if you read books or you know about what happened in the books. But for those who going to learn everything from show, It is absurd to understand anything from the show. Story is going too fast. Cast is dying like never before.
@@sanilchavan4268 i will enjoy the show if i enjoy it. tf r u on about lmao
Thanks for telling me .. I didn't know this from the 300 other comments saying the same thing
It's slightly above average.
Only a few episodes are done and this is easily the best running show rn.
people comparing it to rings of power are insane. This show is so much better
Not that difficult since Rings of Power is the only other series with a comparable media presence and budget. It's not like as if there are a dozen other series running right now, so the statement you're making is bold.
@@Blake-bp9lq House of Dragon is good, though it can be messy and awkward at times. But comparing that show to Rings of Power is complete delusion. RoP may not be as in depth as this, but it got everything else which makes it a complete masterpiece
@@lassehedegaard9054 i just found it weirdly cringey at times. I think the writing could’ve been a lot better
Episode 6 was incredible!
Impressive performance by Emma and Olivia👍👍
On Rhernarya and Alicent Time Skip!
That Opining scene was Phenomenal🔥🔥
Can't wait for this episode, one of the greatest show of all time.
Ok, so Rhaenyra tried reaching out to Alicient to end the fighting between them but Alicient declined. Shocker.
It’s more complicated than that. She did it primarily to save her own ass because of the rumours and the threat it posed to her future rule. She showed herself this episode she has no love left for Alissent with how she spoke of her in private.
Alicent declined because she knows Rhaenyra's children are bastards with no real claim to the throne, unlike her sons.
@@phaethonprime6427 Her sons are brats, can’t wait to see Aegon, Eye Patch boy and big girl die horrible deaths and Rhaenyras son to claim the iron throne ;) Fuck the greens!
@@phaethonprime6427 their claim in legitimate bc rhae is their mother. Isn’t she the heir?
@@phaethonprime6427 Wrong. Rhaenyra's sons inherit through their mother, so who fathered them is irrelevant. As long as Rhaenyra's husband claimed them as his own, which he did, then legally they are not bastard's either. Parentage is only an issue for titles inherited through a father, in that there better not be any doubt as to parentage.
Lyonel and Harwin Strong 🤧😭
Daemon never loved Laena. Each action of his shows his love to Rhaenyra. He settled for Laena because he didn't have the courage to pursue Rhaenyra. When Laena told him that Rhaenyra has a boy, he was happy to hear something from her. He didn't want to go to Westeros because he would have to see Rhaenyra with Harwin Strong and he would be jealous.
Finally Daemon and Rhaenyra getting together what we all waited for😌😌
Emma and Olivia really showed us why both were hired before.
I knew it was coming, but I'm so sad we didn't get to see more of Harwin. I'm devastated
I really wish we had another episode with him. The Breakbones storyline would've been really great to see on the show. A good man crushed by the game of thrones.
"Someone stole Vhagar" gave me chills
