Here's Giovanni Piacentini performing the third movement, "Floresta" from the "Suite Montebello" by Julio César Oliva on a 2021 Wolfgang Jellinghaus “Bavaria A” classical guitar made with spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

What a feat! It takes a lot to be able to pull this off live. So many insanely difficult passages, as the music calls for constant cantabile. Gio, you know you're doing the world a huge favor by playing J.C.Oliva. His sonatas are also amazing!

My lord that guitar sounds sublime! The sustain on the bass register and evenness of the treble response… the note separation/ clarity! Kinda reminds me of a Hauser… but there is nothing like an HH!!!! Great playing too!
