    Excellent graphics completely make up for not understanding the words. Thank you for this great and clear demonstration of why to not ground both ends of a shield, explained better than any english vid I have watched.

    Clickbait. If the title is in English, then the video should be in English too. Otherwise, it's clickbait. Thumbs down.

    I so wish this video was in English, because it seems to be very nicely explained with animations, but I am not sure if I fully get it from that

    So if I'm making a cable, don't connect shield on both ends to circuit ground. However, I can connect shield on both ends to earth ground?

      Terms Earthing and Grounding looks similar, often used for same meaning but they are different concepts. You need to google this 😀

    Thank you EET. Till now I just shielded but not grounded. grounding means, can we connect shield Gnd to power supply 0 volts (- of battery).

    if the shielded cable is on the same equipitential ground system, I connect both sides. if they are two different earthing systems I only connect one side.

    • @kenzo4Ever
      @kenzo4Ever 2 года назад +2

      Right but Better to connect one side in all cases. This way if some mess is done later in the ground your system keeps safe 😀

    Sheath is insulator correct . Then very little voltage difference is present between two earth points. How come current circulate in the sheath. Clarify my doubt.

    • @ElectricalandElectronictech
      @ElectricalandElectronictech  3 года назад

      Aluminum or copper foil surrounded on wires,the foil act as a shield for the inner side conductor's. If Foils connected with ground both end,some mA flow to ground to ground through foil,this mA affect the conductor mA. because mA flow as a signal in wire.here sheath is outer and middle insulation only.

      Is the video title in English or is it an automated translation by RUclips?
