Wow that is the festival I'd love to visit. I love Barcelona and I'm sure all the creative inspiration overflows into the yarn festival. It's my dream! Sorry about your phone, but you managed to do a great recap anyway..... And lucky you to receive a unique garment from Stelvio, I live his creations.❤
Thank you Irina, I’m so enjoying your channel. You’ve inspired me to go to a knitting festival… I hope to meet you at one some time. Thanks for your informative content!
A great recap. After trying to find you at Rhinebeck this year and failing, I had to cross the Atlantic to finally briefly meet you at La Pedrera that Friday evening. What a beautiful place that was. Although we sat at the next table to each other at Tapas and Yarn Saturday night I never got another chance to tell how much I enjoy your podcast and coverage of the Stephen West MKAL. Thank you for mentioning Rowan Tree Travel, they are a great group. Hope to see you next year at Rhinebeck.
Thank you so much Irina for this recap. I'm glad you spent a good time in my hometown (despite the "missing" phone). And thank you for including our pic with my equilibrium and your kind words. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that one day I would appear on your channel. Thank you again for all your inspiration and the work you do in Fiberchats. I'm sure we'll meet again and we'll have time to chat at length.
Thank you for your recap. I was lucky enough to sort of tumble into the first edition of this festival. I booked a mystery citytrip with a friend and on the airport we found out it was going to be in Barcelona! Woot So I said to my friend: I have one request: can we visit it for an hour or so? The vendors were in 1 large room and it was awesome to see all these handdyers together. I am so happy to see it has grown so much and who knows what happens. Hope to see at a yarn event somewhere!
Your recap was really enjoyable and, being so resourceful, you overcame the handicap of losing your phone and photos! I am looking forward to attending the Fruity Knitting retreat in Costa Rica and getting to know Claudia! She’s so talented!
A wonderful recap, Irina despite the loss of your phone.I am glad you were able to experience your first European festival with Claudia and the memories will be etched into your being. That roof top at night and making a new friend in Meret stand out. In all the hustle and bustle, sometimes it's those quiet, intimate moments & connections that hold fast.Go well in your week.🙏🌏❤🐨xx
Excellent, Irina!...and then one day you both shall enjoy a 40 degree Celcius day in Melbourne , with a cold beer, vegemite sandwhich , a chat with a magpie and the scent of gardenias in my garden.:) xx
Of course SW is wearing his Go Go 😊 Right now I’m knitting the Flying Foxtails shawl. Too bad about your phone, Irina, but I’m glad you didn’t let it get you down!
That festival looks like so much fun and such beautiful yarn.. Your yarn is just magnificent ...such beautiful colors. So sorry about your phone..not a fun way to end a great time
I'm so sad about your phone... I would have enjoyed your views! My daughter's phone was recently stolen in Brooklyn and ended up in Guangzhou. I told her it went home! lol
