Thanks. I've never tried the prism, but I guess it should be fine. The new glass sits lower than the original so there is clearance.
As far as the viewfinder through the prism, I assume it's like looking through any viewfinder except now with a split focus screen.
@@gknegatives I've been considering the upgrade for quite a bit, plus I'm pretty sure my glass focusing screen is also quite dirty. Might be easier to just swap it than clean it
I am looking for those to put in my old Kiev 60. Are those brighter? I already have a Fresnel in my TTL prism.
Brightness is not massively improved. More or less the same. I use it for the focus accuracy which IS greatly improved 🙌
Hello Gareth, thank you for the video and great shots! I've just got the same screen and I noticed it's not flat. Is your screen curved too?

No, repair is too hard for me! I used a guy in Germany who serviced the camera. Did an amazing job:
