The fact that a ride of this nature has gone almost 100 years with no major incidents is mind blowing. Some modern examples can’t even do what this ride did.
Y’know, a long time ago there was a legend about the Lake Winnie boat chute where a snake had fallen from the roof of the long tunnel and had fell in a boat filled with people
I really wish they had some sort of dark ride scenes in the tunnels like in rye playland. Then again it still serves the purpose of an old mill (that being a place for couples to make out 😂)
Could you do a full review of wild waves not just the rides and visit the Washington State Fair or the family fun center in tukwilla or visit Henry Moses aquatic center in Renton those are suggestions
There was a log flume at the Pavilion amusement park in Myrtle Beach that had a decent sized tunnel which had an unexpected small drop in it. It was awesome! Miss that entire place and hate that they tore it all down

It is well cared for.
Even though most of the video is pitch black, I’m really glad you made it. The Boat Chute is a beautifully preserved ride from a different era.
It's such a classic.

That would be terrifying in the dark.
have you seen the new midnight flyer coming to santas village next year? should be fun!
It should be a nice addition for them.
Best ride in the park
I prefer a few others, but it's a classic.

Exactly.
@@CanobieCoaster what the dark ride part or the making out part 😂
I thought this ride rarely opened anymore! Incredibly historic if I'm not mistaken.
The thrilling flats are the rides that tend to be closed here.
Canobie what do you use to record the videos?
Go Pro with a wrist harness.
Six flags America water ride is closed during my June 20th visit
The Penguin one?
The shipwreck fall ride
I rode this ride in all the rows one time but in the back twice
Nice!

This ride is kinda sketchy, but that’s part of what makes it fun; always a must do when it’s running!
I have always seen it open.
This could possibly be the most boring loge ride out there, at least until you reach the big drop.
Hey cmon, we all know what the dark tunnels are really for 😂
The quiet and still tunnel works.
