Well it must be the time for undoing yarn this week, I’m making an Afghan for the bottom of my adult sons bed, well I don’t know what I did but my stitch count was right but for som reason it was bending around like a banana, so I pulled it all out & I’ve started again, fingers crossed it works out this time. Glenda, thank you for featuring all these new Premier Yarn Collections! We are getting a great response for these new yarns, especially the Shimmer collections! Hope your mother is feeling better and your sister is doing OK.
Out of curiosity, why is the basix shimmer machine dryable, but the puzzle shimmer is not?
That is a deal-breaker for me, as I would tend to make a large project such as a blanket out of the puzzle, and who wants to have to 'dry flat' with a blanket.
I love premier yarns and buy a LOT of them, but not if they aren't machine dry-able.
Please advise, thank you.

I so enjoyed the unboxing today. Such beautiful yarns! Where I live we don't have easy access to such a variety but we do what we can. 😊 Looking at all those colours made me wish that I could go to a factory and meet the people who design these yarns and make the decisions about weight, length and the amazing names they come up with. I would also love to see how the yarn is actually spun and dyed and so on.

I really like the Jack Frost blanket. That yarn is so pretty. I've always liked the Puzzle yarn by Premier. I got an email about them today but they aren't on sale. I have projects going so I think I'll wait for a sale to get the pretty Jack's yarn!! Thank you for showing us not only the yarn but showing it worked up. It does make a difference! Im making a shawl with the Premier Spun Colors at the moment. It's so, so soft and the colours are fabulous but be aware, it is most definitely a roving yarn.

I purchased Primier puzzle yarn for the first time. I love it. What I don't love is that it is not made to easily pull from the center of the skein and it is impossible to find the center string to pull from. It makes knitting and crocheting much easier. Any tips?
Is it just me or does it look more like a 4 weight instead of a 5 weight for the new puzzle shimmer. I like the canyon color plum dandy my favorite of all the canyon yarns. Also really like the Summer Breeze such small skeins though!

Hi glenda. Im totally addicted to and in love with the Puzzle. I have all colors but im concerned with ' lay flat to dry'.😢 How can u lay an afghan flat to dry. I want to buy this but am hesitant bc of the drying instruction❤
I am still confused about why the Puzzle Shimmer is lay flat to dry and Basix Shimmer is washable and dryable. I will be testing this yarn as soon as i can as i am making an afghan out of it. I will post the results soon.

@@CreativeGrandma 4got to tell you i made a crocheted twisted cable afghan with the Jack Frost Puzzle and its beautiful. What i love about the Puzzle is you can have a big afghan and its soft and not heavy
