Thanks for this great video, explained all the necessary stuff easy and quick (so many 'instructional videos' on You tube are made by people who want to tell their life story before telling you what you need to know). You got yourself a subscriber.
Great video. It does help to use beer lube in the gasket and you should always bleed the CO2 before you connect. Pull the little tab on the sanke and you’ll hear a hissing noise, then connect.

Does this work for the WOMAN CAVE as well? Very good demo and valuable tip about the 1/4 turn. Thank you much appreciated. I'm trying to understand the CO2 regulator/hose/keg coupler setup because I want to drink carbonated water as a health aid. If I want plain soda water is the pressure also 12 psi? I thought it was much higher like 60 psi.
quick question. I saw you set the regulator... do you have the ball valve open as well so gas is coming out as you tap it or do you open the gas ball valve after you tap? I have a twin tap so there are ball valves after the regulator. Thanks. My Dos Equis Lager keg is awaitin...
Very good point! I was thinking the same myself. I think the cold air is moving from fridge into the dispensing tower. It must be so, else the beer in tower will spoil and contaminate the keg or person.
I'm getting mixed opinions on this question. Do you turn on CO2 to regulator then open valve sending CO2 to keg tap then tap keg while charged? Some people are saying to tap keg first then turn on gas or you will get a beer shower. I'm tapping my first keg and want to get it right the first time.
Hey awesome you are from San Anto! 2005 UTSA alumni myself. Looking at vids at how to set up a beer draft. I just bought some beer tab handles and looking to get that beer draft feeling for a party in the future. I don't know how to install them. What do I need to get started? If you can send a couple tips. Thanks. Also, cool man cave.
@@re528 okay. Well, you would need to get a CO2 bottle to lift the keg. And tie into a spout with a handle. Most people who lift a keg on ice or off ice will use a cold box/tap jockey with a cooler full of ice with coiled stainless thy will instantly cool the beer. Google: Jockey Box
@@astropixTX I just got a Heinekn, Stella Artois, Busted Sandle tab handles. I thought If I could get the keg for that beer handle and install the handle on the keg. Is that possible?
Can u tell me what type of faucet this is? Does any one know what this type of faucet is? www.ebay.com/itm/203071485684 my faucet for sale. 2 days left (8/13/20)
Straight to the point. This video will be helpful when I finally tap my first Keg in a few weeks. Thanks
This really helped a lot , they never taught me how to tap a keg in training , had a spill one time at work I think this will help immensely !
No problem brother

Nice video buddy. Simple and to the point. I appreciate it!
My GF just bought us a kegerator. I'm slowly trying to figure it out. I noticed the Leinie's tap handle. Very cool!

Life goals right there!

Would depend on what pressure is needed to lift the water you are trying to drink. Where are you storing water?
Nice video, simple and to the point. I'm looking to buy a used kegerator. Do you have any suggestions on what to look for when buying used?
Just know that you should probably replace all the lines for beer service.
Other than that it’s basically just a refrigerator.

Perfect
Nice Rowdy hat!
Ranger Creek & UTSA represent!
Nice review, easy to follow
I have a similar size kegerator
Can you fit two skinny kegs? Two of any keg?
You can actually fit three 1/6 barrel kegs in there. Or one 1/4 barrel and one 1/6 barrel.
Let’s go runners 🤙🏽
Birds up baby C/O 19!!!
is it alot of maintenance work?
How did you insulate/ keep the lines cold between the gap with the kegerator fridge and counter top ? i’m planning a bar counter kegerator myself

The gas should be on when you stab the keg.
Come on man let's get that taste test
What temperature did you set your kegerator to?
Most of the time as cold as it goes ~32 degrees. However every beer has a recommended temp you can find via google.
Saved my @$$
How long are your beer lines?
About 36”.
Do U Hav to shut off co2 tank every time u dnt use? My co2 tank loses pressure lil by lil
Should not have to shut it off. Check your o-ring on your regulator
Issue fixed thanks was that lol wat temp is recommend to set ur kegerator I hear if to hot too cold beer will foam wats ten u recommend??
Everyone I know goes as cold as possible. Your beer will get cold, just give it 24 hours in the fridge
Ok cold as possible won’t freeze beer lines or cause a lot foam in beer?

What are you looking to install? A kegerator?
I was thinking if I could just hook it up to a regular keg on ice.
@@astropixTX And then a kegerator in the future. I just started doing research on it.

How much beer in tht skinny keg
About 60 cans of beer
I want that man cave hopefully TickTock starts paying me so I could have something like that
I was told a perlick?
That is the faucet(valve) where the beer comes out. Its a brand of faucet. One of the best ones.
The only part you forgot is replace that shitty dos equois with something real
I don’t know how a man gets beer that close to his face and doesn’t take a gulp
