facetubemyassplug I love a comment made by Misha: Results don't matter so much to me in certain tournaments; how I'm playing against Carlsen and Caruana, this is what's important to me.
Daniel Rensch The first Game I was fortunate enough to hear you annotate was Carlsen-Nakamura, and it didn't turn out well for Nakamura. (I'm proud Nakamura is supported by Chess.com....Chess Center's greatest episode was when you held Nakamura's cardboard head cutout in response to President Trump stating that no "Grand Chess Masters" are in our Country. I found that comment of Trump's to be fascinating, since Kamsky beat Kramnik at Trump Tower, Candidates, 1994. Supposedly, Pal Benko overheard our President ask his assistant whether she felt that, if given 2 years, he'd become a Grandmaster, to which she replied, "Why, yes - of course, of course.") Anyway, the moat recent CC was great, as Botez again gave insightful and elucidating commentary on the dress code fiasco that recently occurred and the possible negative ramifications that it may hold for young ladies; I'm really stoked on CC and I think it's a future hallmark that we will all agree was a major influence in the rise in popularity that Chess is presently enjoying. I just really hope that Game Shops that specialize in Board Games don't look at everyone in the same patronizing manner that my question, asked yesterday, was met with, especially given my question being as to whether they had Chess Sets.... I could not believe it when I was told, "Listen, man, Chess Players are way too difficult to deal with in social situations, and as I own this store, and therefore have a social existence, I'd rather not ever see a Chess Player who asks about the weight of a Piece." I mean, aren't Board Games and those who play them looked down on by certain members of groups that partake in more "socially acceptable" 'hobbies'? I wish they'd not do such a terrible thing that they no doubt would hate to have to endure, as I was pretty embarrassed by the whole thing.)
BTDroad 2TOP I believe the word itself comes from russian verb "rokirovat" "рокировать" (to move the king around), which is similar to german verb "rосkiеrеn" and to French verb "roquer." So I'm sure it's being historically passed around. Cool word.
Oh, this is the game where Carlsen got angry a bit at the end and clapped loudly.
the reason Danny isnt a GM yet is because when he is playing chess instead of focusing on the game he is playing random songs in his head
Grischuk just gets up and leaves like it was nothing. What a baller.

He win the blitz championship 3 times. Beat Carlsen was nothing
Danny these games have been GREAT, your narration has stepped up a notch.
Danny Rensch only picks games where Magnus loses xD he's a true patriot. Too bad he can't find any games for Naka vs Carlsen to analyze...

FYI Magnus has been playing under the ID Stoptryharding online recently and it's been verified.

***** it's ok, i was a bit too harsh. at least u uploaded the match. love your commentary
I was looking for this, thank you.
Grischuk is so fun to watch. Favorite active chess player..
I don't get it.... how did Carlsen loose? They still had prices left on the board.
Fav match
Danny at 2:51, you gotta work on your pronunciation of "рокировка" ("сastling" in russian). You get an "A" for effort though from me, lol.
+Denis G but that was unexpected yeah. Из неоткуда такой рокировка :D
