Primeval: Series 3 - Episode 1 - Connor Accidentally Locks an Anomaly (2009)

As the Pristichampsus attempts to travel through the Anomaly into the 21st Century, Connor has no choice but to use one of the large lights to force it back through. And as the animal bites down, it is shocked by electricity which also travels through the Anomaly, forming an odd locked stasis. While I agree with the popular opinion that the anomalies lost their mystery after Series 1, at least they were still interesting, with elements like the locking, different sizes, and the two anomalies that appeared in the same place.

Ah yes, yes, the continuity of Primeval's character writing still impresses me, for instance, here we witness Connor shoving a long, obstructive object in the face of a prehistoric creature for the third time in the series; some long-gone but not forgotten fantasy from Connor's adolescence no doubt.
