Absolutely stunning, what a Bargain!!! Very jealous, really loving Glycine at the moment. Great video, could I share this video in my FB watch club at some point? Bet it will look killer on an olive nato, enjoy it! Best regards, TGV
Thanks so much TGV. Absolutely - share it to your heart's content. I'd also be willing to send to you for a "proper" review if you want. Just let me know. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend! tDS
+Valer360 I've never owned the Sinn 104, but definitely considered it at one point. The Airman has more heritage associated with it whereas the Sinn has some more technical features with their hardened steel. You'll have to decide what is more important to you. Also check out Damasko.
I'm really digging the look on this and what a great deal you got! I also like the different type of interaction with the bezel and think it's easier to use as a second timezone than the 24 hour bezel. The straps look to be good quality and comfy as well. Enjoy and thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much CG. I really appreciate you watching and commenting. You're right. I think this may be a tad easier than the 24 hour bezel - I certainly am not used to calling 4:00 16:00 and have to subtract 12 in my head. Have a great weekend! tDS
I have a Airman 2000 with a single crown. Running + 2 seconds a day, ETA 2893. Well made watch regulated to 5 pos and temp. Big wooden box ! Like your 12 hr one, never seen it before. Thanks for sharing .
I'd probably go with the Airman as it's the longer standing model in their lineup. If you end up loving it then maybe try adding a Combat Sub in a different color. Could be cool to have a little Glycine sub collection.
question for you. i just picked up a double twelve from world of watches. didn't include the usual watch cloth, warranty card wasn't stamped, but my actual question is in time setting, when the crown is at the last or third setting, is it a tad loose, comparing to other watches? My tudor is like butter compared to this watch, but i just want to make sure this is normal for this watch.? Other than that, everything seems fine, but i wanted to check your opinion. thanks Matt
TheDutchSandwich what's the accuracy of your watch? I just got mine and i love it. But it doesn't seem that accurate. If it just sit be itself it's +-5s/d but when I start wearing it's around +-15-20s/d
Hi man! Thank you for your excellent review! Shall I also know about the accuracy of this movement? What is your experience? I need to buy a new watch and the Glycine Airman is one of the main candidates that's why Im asking. Cheers :)
I appreciate it. I don't get too into testing the accuracy of my watches, but I haven't noticed it gaining or losing any time. I would venture to guess its plus or minus 5-8 seconds/day. It's a great watch and would be a great option!
Thank you for your fast reply! Im the same about the accuracy in general especially at automatic movements. Can you read properly the dial in daily light properly? How about the light's reflections? I have a Marvin silver dial quartz (no numbers in the dial just shiny metal sticks) and I cannot read the watch properly. So the clear vision of the dial is quite important for me.
Adam i agree. Since invicta bought the brand prices are insanely low. Good for us watch geeks though. As lo g as glycine still keeps the manufacturing inhouse we are all going too be very happy.
Why you guys always discuss so much about the box ???? Do you ware the BOX on your wrist ???? Exactly! I couldn't care much about the box if you paid me!
@@TheDutchSandwich I left a comment because I spent a great deal of time watching a review about a black box - 1:37 minutes of my life wasted. So I left a comment because I don't care at all about a stupid box! On the other hand, I love that Glynene watch! I Just received a Swiss Torgoen T38 Automatic ETA 2824 watch ... I wonder if you can do a review on that watch?
This is the WW1-quality obsolete construction. The way better Airman is the AIRMAN SST 12 - its outer scale is a CASE-INTERNAL outer scale, operated by a second crown-screw you can turn with the hand. That second crown-screw LOOKS like it needs a regular screwdriver to turn it, but all you need is the thumb-nail in the track and it turns with the slightest circular impetus of the thumb. THAT IS THE REAL «AIRMAN», the «Airman sst 12». Don’t go for the rip-off version.

Split the difference and look at the DC-4 Version .Just picked one up on Mass Drop Brand new for 599
The Urban Gentry Where are you TGV?.😕
Bought the red one this week. Should be here tomorrow!! Can’t wait
Mine is on the way! Do you
Ike it? Is it a keeper?
I do like it. I put it in the rotation
Clint Hymes That’s great! Seems to get “good press” from some of the watch gurus - enjoy! 👍
That's awesome. Wear and enjoy it!
It's hard to beat, especially for the price.

This is such a cool watch. A brand I would love to explore. Seems like an under rated company to me
Great review with all the important facts clearly explained. Just bought exactly the same watch and waiting for delivery.
Regards and thanks again
Much appreciated. Glad it helped and enjoy the watch
TheDutchSandwich Thanks
Me too!

Werner Blazejewski It's a great watch indeed. Glad you are enjoying yours as well!
what is the accuracy you are averaging on yours currently?
Accurate + 2 seconds a day. Tru 24 hr hands and dial . Very rare ! No 24 hr pointer or tail pointer on the hr hand, absolute purist.
mine is 8 to 10 seconds fast. not that good for the double twelve. 40 seconds fast after 4 days
Great looking watch and it's definitely on my list to acquire. Congrats on the purchase!
Thanks Giang
Lovely watch looks really gud, I love the fact the watch is really thin. Thanks for the great review
Appreciate that
That is fantastic looking and what a nice price. I'd love to grab one similar $. Sweet!
Very very nice
Thanks Mark
Beautiful. Thank you for the review. I am torn...this or a Combat Sub? Any direction would be great, thank you.

Thanks so much. Makes sense.
No problem. Enjoy if you get one.

Great watch and video! would you mind confirming the lug width for me? I'm seeing conflicting information between 20mm and 22mm. Thanks!
Oddly enough it's a 22mm although the specs say 20mm. Weird huh?!
hi do you still have the watch? can you please tell me what's the lug to lug length is? thank you
Best to check with Glycine for specifics like that

+Róbert János Schroff it's super easy to read. Black dial with silver/lumed hands -- what's easier than that?!
Cheers man, I appreciate that. Wish you lot of fun with this piece for you! Im getting mine tomorrow :D
Hello there, can you wind this watch or is it just full auto
Auto plus manual wind with hacking.
Thanks for chiming in!
Whats the lug to lug length on this watch?
I'm not sure as I don't have calipers. You may try checking Glycine's website.
TheDutchSandwich It dont say at the homepage :(
It's 22mm for straps, he got it wrong in the video. Don't know how, as "22" is printed on the back of my Double Twelve's Glycine strap.
James Warren I have one for sale
Lovely watch
Thanks
I feel bad for the people who spent $1000 on them when they’re going for 400-500 on grey market
Adam i agree. Since invicta bought the brand prices are insanely low. Good for us watch geeks though. As lo g as glycine still keeps the manufacturing inhouse we are all going too be very happy.
Jeff D yeah, thankfully nothings changed. They're merely there for financial support.
The prices certainly have come down. I'm sure the folks that bought before are still enjoying them though.

Looks like Airman and Vostok had love-child together, lol
