The pair of doors that open opposite of each other are called double egress opening. 1) Push door to egress, door must open with little effort, one action and no special knowledge. 2) Fire doors must be self closing & self latching at all times. 3) Fire labels have time ratings of 20min, 45min, 60min, 3 hour. 3) Frame need smoke seal on legs & header. 4) The gaps between the door and frame legs and header not more than 1/8" 5) The gap between the door & floor/threshold not more than 3/8" 6) If a door needs a key to exit like storefront doors you need a sign "This Door To Remain Unlocked While Building Is Occupied" And an indicator LOCKED / UNLOCK on the inside to let management know if its lock or unlock from a distance.
I am not sure what signage question you have. There is a sign next to this exit door. Fire doors do not require signage but they do require a label that indicate that the door is a fire door. We will be uploading a fire door inspection really soon.
32 inches wide door will not meet ADA ADA wants a 32" minimum when a door is open to 90 degrees. You will need a minimum of a 36" (3/0) wide door to meet ADA. ruclips.net/video/x0QwmN_DCFk/видео.html
I appreciate all these videos you put out recently. It's a nice way to refresh items that should be remembered.
