- Tonight in Oklahoma City, the Trail Blazers defeated the Thunder, 111-98, taking a 3-1 lead in this best-of-7 series. CJ McCollum led the Trail Blazers with 27 points (10-20 FG, 5-9 3pt FG) to go with 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks, as Damian Lillard followed with 24 points (7-19 FG), 3 rebounds and 8 assists in the victory. For the Thunder, Paul George tallied a game-high 32 points (4-10 3pt FG), 10 rebounds and 6 assists, while Russell Westbrook recorded 14 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the losing effort. The Trail Blazers shot 42.9% (15-35) from beyond the arc in the game. Game 5 will take place on Tuesday, April 23rd at 10:30 p.m. ET on TNT.

I said this season's playoffs will determine the legacies of Russ and Harden. I don't know what's in store for James in the next round but one thing's for sure is that James harden is now at a higher level than Westbrook and has a better legacy than him.
James Harden's legacy won't be that bad if he puts up a fight losing to the Warriors. If he chokes yet again then yeah there's no hope lmao.
Don't overrate Harden's legacy. His brand of basketball is still flawed. He might be the most dishonorable basketball player of all time. He has had more weapons on his hands than Westbrook after their departure. This presumed loss for Westbrook doesn't hurt his legacy. The guy still averaged a triple double for three straight seasons. This Thunder team is 1 or 2 pieces away from being elite.
Taylor Giavasis once harden left ha started balling out, I remember watching one of his first few games as a rocket early on and he dropped 40. I never saw him as a guy who could do that when he was with okc. His playoff legacy is far greater than Westbrook’s is at the moment. Any success Westbrook has had in the playoffs came with kd, and for some time early in his career with harden. Not to say he was backpacked because he had some really good games, but the records show that once harden and kd left, he’s been bounced in the first round 3 times. Harden meanwhile joined a franchise who didn’t look to have a bright future whatsoever, and helped turn things around. Let’s not forget he led a rockets team down 3-1 to the clippers and got them to the wcf. That team was pretty bad considering he had a Dwight Howard who was a shadow of his former self as the next best player. Westbrook had an mvp candidate this year in PG and some good pieces like Schroeder and Steven Adams, and they’re still gonna get bounced. Russ is still a great player and no one can take away his accomplishments and triple doubles, but harden would have the better legacy if they were to retire at this very moment.
@@laphonz Generally I agree with you but in the end he's just exploiting the rules. His style might be "dishonorable" but wins are what matter most. And Westbrooks legacy will no doubt be damaged after this playoff loss. He's got his triple doubles but not much more at this point.

First off OKC is not overhyped Portland is just that good and underrated. Finishing third in the West is like finishing first in the east Portland is very well-coached and Damian Lillard may not average a triple double but his leadership is on another level when will people finally understand that he's elite not just really good. He makes few mistakes, he's patient, great leader, clutch, plays with a chip on his shoulder, doesn't let others get in his head, classy, a great role model and great to endorse. Lillard may or not be able to win a championship, but it could happen. Lillard is clutch and explosive, he and McColumn can stretch the floor super long, and he is a genuine superstar. Westbrook isn’t, he performs stupid plays to pad his stats, has stupid behavior, and is unable to stretch the floor due to his bad shooting.
