Thanks for this video - I was given one of these for Christmas and have been trying to find a good instructional video ever since! I've slowly been working out how to get the best shot through trial and error, but this explains it all so simply :)
Hi WaiKei, Thank you for your message. We dropped the grind size down as the single-origin that we were using for the demonstration was quite a light roast and we wanted to maximise the flavour profile from the shot. We experimented with a couple of different doses and found that it was the ideal dose for that particular coffee. Hope that helps!
You need a fresh coffee bean , good grinder, and proper squeez to kompresso dont do pressing only theres a difference of pressure between pressing and squeezing to acheive the crema
Hi Jon, Thank you for your message. The Cafflano Kompresso is totally different to the Aeropress. While it uses a similar ‘press motion’ for the extraction there are some clear difference between the two products. The Cafflano Kompresso is used to extract espresso style, while Aeropress is used for filter style coffee. Watching the video in its entirety you will be able to get a better understanding of the Cafflano Kompresso and how it uses air pressure and an espresso style grind (rather than the filter grind that you would commonly use for Aeropress) to generate enough pressure/resistance to extract a beautiful espresso on the go! Feel free to email us through any questions you have about any of the products to sales@bomborasupplies.com.au - we will be more than happy to discuss them with you. Regards, Ben

This video deserves more views! Thanks Bombora & Anita! Great video!
Hi I just got one and the manual actually said max dose 15g only, is there a reason you guys put 18g? Thanks.

In general video was good, but she did not press stable enough....thats why there was no Crema. I would not even recommend pre infusion.
Isn't this just an Aeropress copy.
