Actually we did discover America thousands of years ago, it was a divine order to sent settlements once every 30 years which is why there are so many ancient Greek things and communities to this very day.

1:27 Punic as a term refers specifically to Carthaginians. I believe you meant to say Phoenicians (the Carthaginians being a Western-Phoenician group)

Interesting ,I have been working on a theory that the voyage of odysseus was a case of him getting swept somehow into the red sea down to Madagascar to Malaysia then to New Zealand and across the pacific into Central Mexico crossing the gulf to either Cuba or Dominican rep. Where he caught the currnts up to the canary island and back throu the straight into the Mediterranean passing in-between sicily and Italy back to Ithaca, I'm typing on a phone or I'd explain further

Good try but read Plutarch to find more information on a solid discovery and long ties with the Americas. Plutarch gives longitudes starting from Meotis lake ( today's Sea of Azoff) straight to the great Lakes of Canada and USA, the spot of hellenic colony where Herakles visited. Also in Georgia region and elsewhere. All the information is in the works of Hellenes, my ancestors were the only ones who wrote books and kept us aware of ancient things. Pytheas was real, and you have no reason to doubt on the premises of theorizing. My ancestors had no reason to play politics, and did not know of propaganda and political correctness.

Not only they were travelling to Canada and Latin America for copper ,3rd millenia B.C. (Ploutarch) but also the right name is "Homerika" - "Ομηρικη" because as a continent is refered to in Homers Iliad .

I have a theory that the odyssey was a case of them coming to America's and Caribbean and exploring then the story being mytholigized

@@shanejones4751 i am not sure about that but given the fact that chronologically many of the Iliad and Odyssey heroes were sons of the Argonauts , it is highly possible !
