This makes me feel small, but not in a negative way. It makes me feel there's something bigger than you or me, something it's not under our control or will. Something that feeds the life and feeds the death. Someting amazing and pure that makes me want to keep existing with my beloved ones and listening to this amazing music.
This speaks to your primal self. It whispers to the DNA inside of you that remembers the hunt. It screams to the part you that didn't see death as the end but rather, a new path separate from the one you walked in life. A time when we feared yet exalted the many gods we conjured to explain the world around us before science showed us otherwise. A time when every nerve ending was in tune with the world. This is what you feel.
This inner primal feel is that primordial vibration that keeps one alive, the OM. The past masters have always referred to it as the Word or the Name of God, and I don't mean the Bible. In fact John begins his gospel with a statement borrowed from Vedic scripture in India from hundreds of years earlier: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Going inside to experience that Word is THE way to find peace for one's own self.
My Family is from East Prussia, Germany and Northern Europe. I live in the US after meine Familia immigrated after Ww2. I so enjoy listening to your music, it feels like home. Vielen Danke!
How a culture so rich and divine is widely preached as the one of barbarians? This level of spiritual enlightenment is rare. I feel blessed to see this side of Scandinavian brothers and sisters. May HE gives you courage and wisdom to pass this to your upcoming generations.

I still remember asking my Baptist Sunday school teacher, when I was a small child, why "god" only has one eye. It wasn't until much later in my life that I was open enough to get to know Odin. He's not just my god, he's my father...And I love him.
Doug Presley Just Óđínn? Okay, gods bless, whatever works. I personally worship Njorđ, Týr, and Máni above all others, but I still make time for Óđínn, Þórr, and Freyja. And Baldr... kinda... And Móđi and Magni too, I guess... Mostly Týr, Njorđ, and Máni, though. And Vulcan. I'm an equal-oppurtunity pagan, much like historical pagans. And Mars, I guess... And Sol Invictus/ Mithras, but him not so much. I'm more partial to Paean, the Mycenaean badass version/ predecessor of Apollo.
Beautiful comment :). It’s amazing how we can be called to a certain pantheon or gods. I know as an ex Christian going up nothing made sense to me and the Christian god never helped me. I’ve been called to the Celtic gods, Danu’s people and I can say... the gods have been with me so closely it’s overwhelming the care. So when I read this it touched my heart that since little Odin was calling you ❤️. Beautiful.

and healing hands while I live.
Hail!
Those of us who practice the old ways May Odin Empower you and Mimir guide you
I don't understand a single word 😀 but this made me feel be in a old norse fairytale
You feel the Primal power and will of your ancestors being breathed into your lungs.
My Family is from East Prussia, Germany and Northern Europe. I live in the US after meine Familia immigrated after Ww2. I so enjoy listening to your music, it feels like home. Vielen Danke!
We are from Europe. It is in us all.
Warm greetings from the Homeland!
When those lights dip and Einar comes in. That is something so powerful it can't be described in words.
How a culture so rich and divine is widely preached as the one of barbarians? This level of spiritual enlightenment is rare. In today’s world, Scandinavian countries are benchmark for promoting gender equality, climate-change awareness and everything good that is happening in this world. I feel blessed to see this side of Scandinavian brothers and sisters. May HE gives you courage and wisdom to pass this to your upcoming generations.
OMG...It just doesn`t get any better than this! Touches the heart in so many ways!!! Takes me back to another place and time. Hail Odin!!!!!!!!!!
I've listened to this a thousand times, I swear, and I love it every time. I always love hearing when Einar's part comes in because it sounds like its echoing from time itself for half a second. Faun and Einar I feel should do an entire album together, but thats my opinion. Either way, love Faun and Einar, Blessed be to them and all who listen to this amazing music!
By the gods, it's been a while since I've had so many chills. Utterly astonishing. I don't know what would happen to me if I experienced this live.
I get the chills every time Einar Selvik sings.
I know what would happen for me. I would go into such a deep state of trance that I might accidentally astral project and show up on stage.
I just rolled my eyes so hard at your statement. Yes, this song is definitely powerful and I also get chills every time Einar Selvik sings. However, you are not going to astral project and show up on stage. That was the most asinine comment
citizengiants my thoughts exactly
Went to wardruna last year. For me it was a life changer. It is pure
I still remember asking my Baptist Sunday school teacher, when I was a small child, why "god" only has one eye. It wasn't until much later in my life that I was open enough to get to know Odin. He's not just my god, he's my father...And I love him.
Doug Presley
Just Óđínn?
Agnarr Salventius Vulcan and Mars were just localized names for the same gods. Tacitus wrote about this. Read up on it.
Isnt Vulcan= hepheastus and Mars= Ares ?
i do see odin as my patron since i got from an oracle the rune naudir. even when i also take my time to some other deities, odin is my patron :)
Beautiful.
Einar seems to be out of his body when he sings... he truly does it with the soul! So beautiful!
When Einar took the stage everything change...What a medium
May the Norse Gods protect us from this nightmare & keep the strong safe
Eihwaz!
anybody else draw the connection between the peace symbol used by the childless, libgreeny, open borders cult and the inverted life rune?
@@elaughter6415 The peace symol is a Rune, you know?
@@raphaelfrontmann6046 yea, the rune for volk death. when a rune is inverted it has the opposite meaning of its right-side up form. That's why you see/saw that inverted version of the symbol on graves. Coincidence or not, looking at the peace sign, we see the symbol of death inside a circle.
The gods come to the aid of the industrious.
Hail Odin!
Greetings from Italy!💕
Hail Odin!
I love your musics, I'm learning Deutsch with the help of your songs!
Jeffrey Gabriel da Silva Martins Learning abaut Musik you Love is a verry Good Way 👍 I make the same.... 😉
i can just give you the recommendation to watch stuff in german as well. it helped me a lot to learn english cause you can leyrn vocabulary out of the context. and we germans have good synchros watch your favourite movies again.
German is a very hard Language dude, learning it by this Kind of Music makes it way more difficult. A Lot of Germans dont even get this Text. So Good Luck :)
bent0r no the german part is completly understandable its not even old german. most wont get the meaning behind the words but thats not the fault of the Text but the listener
Lorddrase so you would recommend this for learning German? It's the hard way...
that brought tears to my eyes, hail to the gods and goddesses
Hail!
I've lissen'd this song so often. And every time it enchants me into another world. This combo of Faun and Einar Selvik is one that drives you into other spheres of your own dreams...mind...awwareness...thanks so much for this experience. Love you all! ❤
Hail the All Father, Hail Odin Wodan Wotan!! Ancestors hear us and give us strength
Wow this is amazing I wish that Einar and Faun would do this more often :-) Fist pumping the air right now. Hail Odin and the Aesir
Truly, HAIL the Allfather. And Hail the Aesir and Vanir.
You sound amazing Live, hope to see you all one day, Praise Odin and Cernunnos, Praise Freyja and Morrigan, Praise all the Gods and Goddessess
Human origins are shaking off the ashes of centuries of blind wandering on this planet. Music is the most powerful way to channel spirituality and speak to who's behind the curtains of body and mind. Thanks so much.
Einar Selvik is an true bard an poet too sing in these old norse language and with these people that are playing this music it is an great masterpiece and it makes me cry of joy too see people like these may the music unite us all and germanic people find our own roots back too the Odinism/Pagan belief that we hold sacred back in history and that we may become stronger and better.
I listen Faun and Wardruna and I love them so much. Legends are together singing songs! Melody and vocals... Everything is perfect!
Copious amounts of love from India. Hail Odin!
In the cry out to Spirit we are all one, forming the greater consciousness. Regardless of region, the concepts apply. The lands are joined, the people may commune, and the future comes to us even as we seek it. Thank you for joining in that mind of all!
More love from India! I just saw Einar perform two days ago... my life will never be the same
Sukriti Singh where did you watch him perform?

Every time I see this live I thing the same thing: One thing is recording a song and putting into an album, another is playing it live. Here you can see why it's worth a million to see Faun and Einar live: Their music comes out of their insides, the emotions, everything makes this moment absolutely breathtaking and perfect.
Wow this was magical too listen too such this german medieval type of music and with Einar Selvik from Wardruna All hail Odin and may Odinism grant strenght and peace too land.
Music to the soul, beautiful video, well done 🙏🏼

I was there too ! First time that I saw them and it was absolutely awesome 😍
And the award for best male singer of all time goes to Einar Selvik
Chills and tears in my eyes. Echoes of the past. It still lives on that which they tried to silence.
For those who think the world is dark...you are the flame that keeps it at bay.
Jeezzzz.... Einar man... I thank the gods for his life man.
Absolutely love it! When Einar sings, he really sings for gods.
When they sing, its like Odin had possessed them to make this beautiful melody! Hail Asgard and Odin and all the Vanir! From a history geek and micronational studies teacher!
Perhaps the greatest collaboration and musical arrangement of all time. Wonderful. Bravo
This is one of the Best Songs i Ever Heard a mystical masterpiece
Einar ist ein Geschenk der Götter
Saludos.
Ottorocker a mi me encanta tío
❤

Hail to the Old European Traditions
Luca Dupont Skåll
No more EU
pagan worship is a backstep of civilization.it is Christianization brought Mediterranean civilization all the way to north europe, and through this legacy the north european developed modern civilization
@Hans Gunsche So ist es! Heil Wodan!
@@alfredz3154 this is the by FAR dumbest comment i have read. Christianity and all the other abrahamic religions are the cancer of humanity.
me in 2016: wtf is this song
me in 2017: hmmm ok
me in 2018 after reading the Edda: OMG MASTERPIECE
Faun & Einar Selvik is like a match made in Valhalla.
I feel as though I am sauntering through the mountains and being called home when I listen to this. Faun and Wardruna are two of my favorite groups for modern takes on my ancestral music. Einar, you convey emotion in your vocals so well, brother.
Just now, I was listening to this marvelous song and a nightingale was singing in the tree right next to me. Amazing how nature connects to this song
Amazing collaboration. Faun sounds incredible and mystical, and Einar's entire part is perfection. I can't stop rewinding to hear the deep voiced part... chills...
Nochmal, mittlerweile bestimmt 50x angeklickt, ein Meisterwerk!!!
Thank god i have a beard. I listened this almost 800 times already. And i will not stop. THE TRUE POWER OF MUSIC
Does anyone here also thinks that it is similar to "Rotlaust tre fell"???
Faun is a great band. So is Wardruna. But Einar is just incredible no matter who he's with, his vocals are just so good
As a Danish-American-Kiwi, I realize that this music is in my DNA. It's beautiful!
Testing testing: are you selective or are you in for the whole DNA package ruclips.net/video/QRg_8NNPTD8/видео.html (LOL whilst sitting in Denmark)
Faun's part is also perfect. Without faun music there is nothing
This song and Einar, and Faun, a couple years ago awoke my soul. I started reaching and searching, and found my true self. Pagan is at the very core of my being. Thank you Faun, and Einar!!
Whatever Einar touches turns to gold. In thousands of years they'll be singing songs about Einar Selvik our modern god.
This is a song of praise to the old gods
This song always gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it! Just love Faun's all songs and they are the reason for me to learn German.
How is this 10x better than the studio recording?!
Wahnsinn. solch eine tolle Musik. zufälig gefunden. "Die Walpurgisnacht" von Faun ist absolute Spitze!!!
Stimmt 🤘
🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪
Love to see Einar Selvik, wherever he appears. I love faun too. So cool to see - love from Sweden
