Ok so I was online during Kenza cosmetics scandal. If my memory serves me correctly, they were advertised as 80$ brushes you could get for free, just pay 10$ shipping. Just-pay-shipping is a form of scam where they basically tell you that the product is free, but you pay it in shipping costs. Also, waiting it for 2-3 weeks sounds like dropshipping.

I’ve been a subscriber for a while and I really appreciate the honesty about the sponsorships. Adam and Eve is great and it’s refreshing to see a RUclipsr who isn’t advertising something dumb that I find out is sketchy later.
The issue was that she never apologized properly and kept digging herself in a hole that became her downfall. I do believe that if she had said "hey guys I'm so sorry about the Kenza brushes, it was my mistake not to do a proper check on the company this wont happen again" or something along those lines she would probably still be a beloved youtuber but no she decided to die on the hill of "manage your expectations".
