From the 2008 Benefit concert for epilepsy "Intimately Two Hearts" This October concert , featured an international star, a legend of Russian music and bard of song - Jeanne Bichevskaya, Жанна Владимировна Бичевская (Żanna Biczewska Żanna Władimirowna Biczewskaja, ros. Жанна Владимировна Бичевская) accompanied by Gennady Ponomarev and mezzosoprano - Margaret Maye and by the Music Ensemble and highlights were broadcasted on CityTv's Polish Studio.This annual concert raised funds for the Epilepsy research program at the University of Toronto and took place on thanksgiving week-end 2008 at the Saint Lawrence Centre for the Arts in Toronto with two sold out performances on Saturday October 11, 2008 at 3:00 and 8:00. Margaret Maye Third Annual Benefit Concert for Epilepsy research titled Body and Soul - Tango Passion will Feature Artist of the Year, Juno nominated, critically acclaimed, internationally renowned Quartango, with Argentinean Tango Dancers Roxana & Fabian Belmonte and mezzo soprano Margaret Maye on October 20th 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Saint Lawrence Centre for the Arts, in the Jane Mallett Theatre, 27 Front Street East, Toronto, Ontario Body and Soul - Tango Passion. A feast of sight and sound, a perfect harmony of melody and movement. When Quartango teams up with Argentine tango dancers audiences are spellbound by the intricate, sensual dance steps and the spirited music. Their elegantly, flawless arrangements of tangos that draw on classical works, jazz standards, Celtic melodies and popular tunes provide the setting for Roxana and Fabians terpsichorean pyrotechnics and Margaret Mayes lush mezzo - soprano singing. Dancers, singer and musicians share their passion for the tango in an exceptional performance where melody, voice and movement are in perfect harmony.
