About ten years ago now, I had a rare, non-cancerous tumor in my left sinus, which left me unable to breathe through my nose. It was big enough to completely close my left nostril and push the bridge of my nose so that I couldn’t breathe through the right nostril, either. It took the doctors over a year to figure out what it finally was, and they couldn’t tell if it was cancerous or not until they took it out. I was only about ten, so I didn’t really know what was going on, but I knew it was bad. I had to breathe through my mouth for over a year, even at night while I was sleeping, leaving my mouth dry and bloodstained every morning. You need to have money to make money (yes he started at 1 penny, but he had to get more money and spend it to upgrade and make more) 2. Budget, keep track of your expenses and income so you can manage it effectively and know your progress 3. Have ideas, be creative. Have a plan to keep growing 4. Have a goal, crystal clear goal, something that motivates you 5. Take action. Ideas and goals are worth nothing without the action to implement it 6. Mindset: believing in yourself and knowing anything is possible (most people lack this and don’t even start) 7. persistence, don’t give up and keep reaching for what you want

It took the doctors over a year to figure out what it finally was, and they couldn’t tell if it was cancerous or not until they took it out. I was only about ten, so I didn’t really know what was going on, but I knew it was bad. I had to breathe through my mouth for over a year, even at night while I was sleeping, leaving my mouth dry and bloodstained every morning. It had been so long that I had forgotten what it was like to breathe through my nose or even smell. After the surgery, I could breathe through my nose again and it was like my eyes had been opened. I had never been more grateful for something so simple, but it’s been so long since then that I’d forgotten. You made me remember the thing I’m so grateful for that we take for granted every day. Thank you Mr. Trahan. And, if anyone ever reads this, thank you for reading my page of a paragraph.

There’s so many key lessons for this series, some I have thought of so far:
1. You need to have money to make money (yes he started at 1 penny, but he had to get more money and spend it to upgrade and make more)
2. Budget, keep track of your expenses and income so you can manage it effectively and know your progress
3. Have ideas, be creative. Have a plan to keep growing
4. Have a goal, crystal clear goal, something that motivates you
5. Take action. Ideas and goals are worth nothing without the action to implement it
6. Mindset: believing in yourself and knowing anything is possible (most people lack this and don’t even start)
7. persistence, don’t give up and keep reaching for what you want
