Finally after buying this cbr 600 rr together with my mate from ToroAdventure / Torotrail, we finally both had the time to try it out on this kart circuit; Campillos.
It is of course not a fast circuit, but perfect to learn how to steer/cornering. However, it was very hot in the leather suit with more than 35 degrees, so I could not ride as much as I would like. The heat took a lot of energy and I quickly overheated and dehydrated. But is was so awesome! Corner after corner, wiejjjj!
The CBR 600 rr is a nice bike! It steers nice and fast and sharp. I hope to be able to ride it again soon this year, but then in a little less heat. It tastes like more! WOOP WOOP!

I’ve done quite a few track days with my 2012 CBR600RR. Most fun bike out of all of them. Perfectly balanced machine.

The track looks great! It's got a lot of cool turns with shorter straights. It's a busy style track where you can't relax much. Made my moto track like that.

The CBR 600RR makes a great track bike, that one sounds healthy! Nice hairpins on that track. On board camera view was nice. One of my bikes is a sweet 2013 Limited Edition Repsol CBR 1000RR a great performer and it’s a screamer too.

Nice. In Australia we are not allowed to just go to a track and ride like you did. For us it's either race with other riders or we can go to what they call a come and try day. It's for riders that haven't been on a track before so we might ride with 15 others on the track and it's only on certain days of the year.
This was very rare! No other bikers.
Because of the heat no other were on the circuit. Only 2 crazy people with one cbr....my mate and me😂
And some kids on karts between our runs.
It sound like Australia sucks you can’t race your Bike you can’t own any firearms and you can’t have a motorcycle club

I take corner training 2-3 times a season on a kart track (Harzring) to work on riding skills.
The leather seems to need some grease and care taking…

@@TwoWheelsAndAPonytail my father raced there on a zundapp 50cc and the original assen road course in 1960's but Hengelo races all classes today but still narrow traditional layout road racing,many good utube vids from there.
Looks like a fun track to learn the basics things like perfect body position, trailbrake, backing it in, leg dangle etc. Next time you ride, put your camera on your buddies bikes so we can see better. Have fun.

@@TwoWheelsAndAPonytail Thoses techniques apply to the CBR too. You ride almost hard enough. We ear the tire chirping on downshift when you brake. The more often you go to this track, it will eventually, backing in in by it self without forcing it. Im impressed, you did great. It was a relatively aggressive riding. You are not shy of gas and brake hard. It will get better really fast. Brake harder but later, it will become trail brake. keep holding gas later, gas hard at apex. I enjoyed this make more trackday content. You have talent.

I don't know if people are just getting lazy but you've over 11k views and only 700 likes. I just hit the Like automatically when I view coz good or bad I still want to see the next episode. I guess you used tyre warmers, I was worried watching the first lap and just praying you wouldn't be leaning too much on cold rubber coz Cart Tracks have tighter corners, but you did great! 👏👏👏👏👏👊🤘

@@aledmb Well, first ride on that bike, circuit etc.
Its a small circuit with bends and bends. No long straight on. Very short turns. But so helpful for training 🥰
So not a fast circuit. So it looks slower than a s1000rr on a fast circuit.

Looked like a blast but unfortunately not a great track for a fast bike. More for little go carts I guess. Not enough room to let the bike go the way it's meant to. Not sure you ever got past third gear.

Improve your throttle grip. It's kinda hard to explain how the proper one loox like in a comment but look it up. I think there's a fortnine vid about it too...if you do the proper grip it immediately places your elbow down low and forward too significantly improving speed and reducing lean angle...if you grip the throttle like this it kinda makes it impossible to work with the upper body properly

@@dcktater7847 Your description perfectly fits the grip I mentioned. It's supposed to come across as 'intuitive' to new track riders, as you don't firmly grip an ice cream cone either; you hold it gently and at an angle instead of like a neanderthal

Noooooo these tire markers are from karts....it is a kart circuit.
They really have different lines.
I tried these black lines with the bike and these lines were horrible and way slower with a bike.
The cornering on a kart is totally different 😊
@@TwoWheelsAndAPonytail I understand these are kart marks ,but still believe and others mentioned, that you should brake little later and more outside before the turn and then exit earlier with throttle on . Just a tip, maybe :))))). You doing good.

Do you think when the bars will be wider, that there is less pressure on my wrist with braking?
Because a lot of braking is a bit sensitive on this cbr for my wrist/hands.
Or also maybe thicker handles/handgrips. They were a bit small/thin.
