Have had some power losses and it wouldn't start had to remove 2 files and turn the backup to the main and it fired up and kept the balance support will walk you through it next time they don't want me breaking people's nodes lol

etcmc product is basically a etc node client with etcmc gui interface with geth and besu clients built in. it does not mine etcpow, but get paid in etcpow for being a node operator. That is the reason for the email registration, so as to only get paid out if you actually purchased an etcmc product. Geth client is freely download and setup with a pc as an etc node operator. The more nodes out the less the less get paid to individual node

Every time I see ETCPOW being swapped It's always being exchanged for WETC, how is this different from standard ETC? It looks like on coin gecko that WETC can't really be traded for anything useful. Am I missing something? What are people trading their WETC for?

The node is keeping and adding more decentralization to the ETC blockchain normally you would get nothing not run a simple node but due to the community and these contracts you actually get paid something.

Just got 1 peer after an hour of running! I wonder if that happened to anyone else? But still only 1 peer. After a few min, it says "synchronization failed, dropping peer" then it start looking for peers again.
@RabidMining All my mining hardware is hardwire with Cat6. I don't even attempt to do it over WiFi. Just realized the machine I have it only has 4gb ram. Not sure if that's the issue but I got it running on a different machine with 8gb ram and a i5-10500T. Is the little mistakes that gets me so mad sometimes! Lol

I think it makes a great add-on to my little farm! Since they are back ordered, I was considering the software - could I setup a spare CPU board with a Ryzen 3600, 28Gb Ram and 2 M2's? If so, do you know where I could get setup info?
Yup just gotta use windows I set one up on a windows pc also once downloaded just install it to the drive you want and open it same steps as in the video and it's running.
I have 4 nodes running with income @ $120 per device is great. I bought some Dell OptiPlex 3040 USFF pc's and upgraded the RAM to 16 gig. I experimented with Ubuntu and failed so WIN10 is doing fine, so far the company isn't interested in Linux
I had this until I opened ports, so I'm thinking there's still something blocking you. Make sure you open the ports to the right machine, the right local IP.

Both but it's just running the node that's how you earn the tokens.
They call it mining in the gui but it’s really not mining. You are just being rewarded for running the node. I was confused at first too.

Yup its on the etc chain gotta add the token to the ETC chain in Metamask to see it

Give it a few min should grab can try pushing node stop then mine etcpow again and leave it see if it grabs
