Another great video on techniques used in building, with skill & patience in the execution. The attention to detail; remaking the headlight lens from scratch, correcting the scale of the panel lines, customizing structural panels & fixtures... Very good presentation as usual with close detail filming & no background distractions. Relaxing & entertaining way to learn from a skilled craftsman.
Hi, Long time i don’t make my models, but i can recognize myself on your video. Nice to see there are still people that prefer silendt weekend, with a good model and …thinking how to do. Will like to know you inperson to share experience and ..triks. I am giallomodena43. Not so much time , but love the building, and especially the lathe machines…. Keep going pal. Watching you and …love your clean works.
When I didn't have time, I used to watch videos of other people's productions. I was often healed at that time. We aim to continue such videos in the future. Please resume production! Thank you.
Great video. I know a lot about thermoforming and molding with thermoplastic. I use a similar product from GSW Blue Stuff. Will continue to enjoy your viedeos and subscribe. Thanks for sharing, greetings Martin.
I was wondering whose kit this was. I used to build a lot of 1/43 kits back in the 80’s and 90’s. Started picking up some older kits off eBay the past few years but some of them had yellowed and damaged decals after so many years.
To be honest, I am not good at using decals from old kits. So I often make kits that do not require decals to be applied. If I can make my own decals, that's not a problem. I want to learn how to make my own.
Sorry, mate: I am completely ignorant…. But the first 4:35 minutes are to redo the plastic cover of the front lights?!?
Thank you!
Light parts of the kit were good enough to use, but I wanted to show you the process of building from scratch.

I bought a 1/6th scale M4A3 105mm Sherman tank and modded the heck out of most plastic looking parts. This brings back some memories.
That's a big scale!!
It's worth replacing the metal.
Nice detail, ask what brand you use sanding grit for putty
Brand is TAMIYA.
Thank you!
@@bonbonscalemodel and same brand sponge sanding tamiya ? What number grit sir ?

It's convenient because we don't need to use silicone to make the mold.
Thank you for watching!
TOO small ! 1/18 !!

What is the material that you poured hot water over to make the mold of the front of the model?
This is a something called a thermo plastic.
Thank you.
Awesome ! Why did you make new light cover with vacuum ? those from the kit are too big?
Thank you!
The kit parts were good enough to use, but I wanted to show you the process of building from scratch.
Very nice work. What is the material put in warm water to cast the headlights?
OK! Here is the link to Amazon.

This is beyond my skillet, I love wat you are doing ( and taking notes!)
Thank you for watching!!
Spectacular !
Thank you!!!
Inspiring work! You are carving a straight line here 10:59 how and with which tool did you carve the curves?
I use the same tool when carving curves.
I cut a rounded corner of pink sandpaper to use as a guide.
毎回素晴らしい製作動画をUPして頂きありがとうございます。
完成を楽しみにしています。

Thank you!!
Love your work! Can I ask which material is used at 11:02 as a rigid template to scribe the panels? Is it cardboard?
I use this sandpaper↓
amzn.to/42fwdI8
I also shave the sandpaper itself and use it as a template when scribe rounded corners.
@@bonbonscalemodel clever! I suppose you use double sided tape to keep the sandpaper in place during the process.
This sandpaper has a sticky texture on the backside.😃
@@bonbonscalemodelwow, great material indeed. Thank you!
