I wonder if I can help you understand, because I'm not sure how to explain it. They're just dancing the way the music makes them feel, nothing awkward. The movements might look weird to you, but it's what feels good. Back then we encouraged each other to be as extreme as you can/want/like.

He didn't believe me it was real. 😄 I clearly remember the article in some soviet fanzine referring to the original issue in a british magazine kinda 'Sounds' about that subcult. Then again couldn't find any of them via google. Looks like the internet is indeed finally dead.
