He's dressed like he's in a blaxploitation film
Thought the same thing
He definitely borrowed that outfit from samuel l jackson
He been watching a lot of dr umar johnson
@@3RDEYELOVE that's what I said lol
He can wear what he wants hes an artist
I like how he mentioned black people talking thru movies in movie theaters in a positive way lol
Lmao.
That's why he gets the pass. He really is one of us at heart. Skin color is irrelevant. It's about what's in your soul. Quentin is heavily seasoned.
It’s not rare whatsoever the great far outweigh the shitty in terms of people doing that
The only time you’ll ever hear that
@@BootyThumbsLLc nah you’re just coping. He’s Italian through and through
He wasn’t wearing that hat before the theater
Right lmao
Acting like he wasn’t already close friends with Sam L Jackson whom this outfit is clearly inspired by
@@enzocignetti6359 acting like the dude wasn’t making a joke
Why has he got a Spanish flag running through it?
and i hope he burned it after the interview.
Yoooooo quentin got drip
Yeah coke will do that to yah
🙄
@@dukkibhoy1990 lmao coke drip
@@sproutsisters5398 a lil snow for the troat.
Yep.
I sincerely thought they photoshopped the thumbnail to have him in full African attire 🤣
me too
Same🤣
Yep!
😂 I’m like please don’t let me click on this and have Quentin in a full dashiki with some crazy ass looking African hat.
thats actually why i clicked this
just his fashion sense though
I love that he is just a fan of movies. That’s it. He just loves movies. Loves them so much that he decided to make his own. Didn’t even go to school for it at all. Just loves movies so much that he wanted to be a part of the movie culture.
He's more than a fan. His knowledge of film is encyclopedic.
no film school but I did hear him say in an interview that he wen to acting classes first and tried to be an actor.
@dilldough3588not sure, but maybe he loves movies?
@Dave Lane what? Lol
@@MrEazyE357 I would disagree. He’s said himself that all it takes to make a great movie is to love films and be inspired to make your own. Obviously he’s a lot more invested than the average movie fan but at the base level he’s just a guy that loves movies so much that he deities make his own
I wore a hat like the one QT has on for my first day at a new elementary school... it went about as well as you'd expect.
Yeah but what happened?. I know kids are mean but damn. You a grown ass man😂
@@KidOChaos doesn’t matter if you’re black or white. Kangol has never looked good on LITERALLY anyone.
@@jeffbenzos6344Never a truer word spoken 🤣🤣🤣
@@jeffbenzos6344 lies 😂😂😂
100% he saw someone wearing that hat in the theater.
I saw 'Titanic" in a Black theatre in Miami.
It was hilarious.
i suddenly have a new bucket list item
What did they change about the film lmao
Like my mind says to me “oh, Titanic but with all black people. Thats cool”, and yet I feel they did something more
@@nohooligans888 The audience was mostly Black. Lots of shouting at the screen, as if the characters could hear them. Kind of like the midnight showing of " Rocky Horror Picture Show" without the costumes.
@@nohooligans888 bro what is this comment
@@pierreo33 a question? Which I got my answer to lmao
As he looks like he just got home from a vacation to Jamaica
"You go into the theater and everyone is talking through it."
Lolololol
Tarantino is the epitome of America. He knows race exists, but doesn’t exploit it selfishly. He sees what he sees and put it on film.
He’s very fair minded. Disappointing that police unions started boycotting his films for supporting black lives matter, even though it’s always been obvious throughout his films he’s anti-racist
@@thl205 well BLM is a racist organization that exploits black people under a false pretense so it's actually pretty ironic.
always hilarious when they call him a racist for movies like Django, its a period peice. Wtf do you expect, you think you're gonna see a slave owner call them African Americans gtfoh lmao
@@thl205 you can be anti racist and also think BLM IS a racist organisation that has done nothing to help black people. Just FYI 👍
@@joebloggs9719 except I wasn’t talking about BLM the organization. After NYPD executed Eric Garner for the crime of selling loose cigarettes, Tarantino just simply said that was wrong. That was enough for police to throw a tantrum. Happy to clear it up for you 👍
Quentin Tarantino can talk about movies all day and it would never get tiring
Imagine if Quentin Tarantino remade Shaft…
This man is a true student of cinema
Blackula ruled. William Marshall was a class act
No one narrates a vibe like Quin-taan m@f%!
Films make him genuinly happy and that makes me happy knowing my favorite director is happy.
I think the interviewer asked him about his outfit and this was his "answer".
I wasn’t ready for that outfit. He gets a pass though… he always gets a pass.
Doesn't need a pass.
Naa he’s “racist” cuz some of his films have the n word in them, people are so dumb it’s insane
@@metalgear3463 here's your like 👍🏽
@@metalgear3463 go be a woketivist somewhere else
@@metalgear3463 oh dear ....
I really feel like Andrew Garfield could star in a Tarantino biopic.
I had never thought about that, but now I can't unseen it 🤯🤯🤯
Oh God no lmao. Maybe a suburb centered biopic (which I don’t think he’d ever do). In an actual Tarantino film, he wouldn’t fit in at all imo.
@@sergicalcantara he means a movie about Tarantinos life, a biopic
@@sergicalcantara what do you think a biopic is?
absolutely not. what kind of.. no. .
“I’d open up m-damnnnn movie”
This reminds me of when I watched Django Unchained. I’m white and had a white girlfriend and we went to saw django opening weekend. The crowd was going crazy during the movie jumping out of their seats when django was whipping the slavers or laughing there ass of at the racial slurs I remember when the Tupac song came on during the shootout after Calvin died people were literally chanting jumping around and going crazy it was awesome first time in my life that the audience noise added something extra to the film but during the serious scenes like when Leo brings the skull to the dinner table it was dead quiet you could hear crickets in that place after the film was over and the lights came on I realized me and my gf at the time we’re the only white ppl in the theatre and I’m pretty sure Quentin did this on purpose he knew it would be a majority black audience they would be hype and rowdy and made the film to fit that experience absolute genius.
I love it when Tarantino wears the clothes that Samuel L. Jackson gifted him after Pulp Fiction. I remember seeing Samuel say that Tarantino "is a brother now"
😂🤣😂🤣😂
The kangol hat makes the blacksploitation hit harder
I love when Q dog starts talkin' jive.
I cringe
Bro is dressed up like a blaxploitation film 😂
the excitement talking about his experience there. it feels so genuine :D
Quentin Tarantino is definitely invited to the cookout
Okay Q, I see you.
Your picture says otherwise.
@@pokerone6489 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 this is golden
@@thenamesloca You're golden.
@@pokerone6489 phenomenal rizz but why you respond 2 months later 💀
@@shmeatloaf U mad bro? :)
Quentin Tarantino's the kind of person to go to a 42nd Street Grindhouse with a pen and paper taking notes and getting robbed 🤣
lmao that hits close to home, i took notes at the most ghetto spots in LA county for film purposes and got tested a few times
@@BLMacab ahh im sorry to hear that 🙏🏼 I heard that's what happened to alotta people who did that sortta thing. What type of flicks did you review?
LEGEND
When I was in college in Mississippi. I went to a black movie house and had the best time ever.. Whether it was a scary B-movie or a cheesy porno Everyone was hootin and talking to the actors on the screen, making sound effects laughing..😂❤😂❤
Congratulations?

quentin love culture. hes not a wannabe. hes a here to stay and raise a family type
I wanna write a blaxploitation film and have this man in it with this exact getup 🔥
And because of his love towards blaxploitation movies you get Jackie brown and Django, pretty cool
I love Tarantinos love for our culture.
He always shows mad respect and appreciation.
Def 1 of the coolest directors
Especially in inglorious bastards!!!
Does anyone else want to see him write and direct a Shaft movie now?
Quinten: SO PROUD OF YOU 👏👏👏👊🏾✌🏾
Best way to watch a movie in my point a view with live funny commentary
@dilldough3588tell ‘em tough guy
He's so right about the music
I miss those days
Love that Quentin is so educated in all aspects of film. He’s truly top 5
I also love blaxploitation because of QT..which is funny to say. I love the swagger and above all of those movies.
He is a brutally honest creative individual, who’s see it how it is and what it can be, then makes a cool ass movie about it with his own strange signature twist.
“if Michael Cera was shaft I would literally be homeless.”
Tarantino is my favorite honorary Wakandan.
Brother Quentin
😂 Quentin is the best bro 💪🏾 such a great storyteller
He's like B-Rad from Malibu's Most Wanted
Quentin relates to movies on another level.
I’ve honestly heard so many people / seen a lot of posts basically claiming all of these never existed - against like the billion film’s I know - arguing the first black lead role to have been post 2000.
He looks like the type of guy to have a sign on his garage.
Bold clothing choice for a bold man
I’ve just started getting into Blaxploitation, I like it, thanks for bringing Hit Man to my attention!
My favorite Quentin attire
Shaft 4 by Tarantino
that mack poster is one of the bests.
He the goat
Love your 🎥
I miss this sound
Man! I can hear him talking about movies for years.
Classic Quentin.
I love him !
Love Tarantino man
Now I want to see a Quentin Tarantino remake of Shaft with Michael Jai White as Shaft.
Quentin is a dark wizard. Yer welcome 🎯
Quentin so fucking cool man
Never realized how much he's like a grown-up DJ Qualls
The GOAT.
I think he can come off as white boy wannabee at first. But he absolutely loves and adores black cinema
Damn whites
I was not ready to see him dressed like that
Man looks like he's wearing a dashiki
He actually makes that look work for him.
He's dressed like Gaddafi.
I need a Tarantino Shaft film
Coffy said hi
this man my nigga
The white guy at the barbecue
I love him
I can not go back to watching the opening of Shaft without being semi frustrated now.
Weird how he gets deemed racist by people who wouldn't dare go where he's been in Black America and still be open enough to have an honest opinion on black culture.
I love this short it gives me some good black vibes
Dude raided spike lee's closet 😏
It just feels like Hillary Clinton with the hot sauce in the purse moment
The quality of the soundtracks have outlasted the quality of the movies. I still listen to Truck Turner - Isaac Hayes, for ex, but rarely watch it.
that kangol is fucking sick
I saw the thumbnail and thought he was wearing one of those traditional African garbs. I about shit myself 🤣
Would love go see what his take on a Shaft intro woulda been.
Ten je stoprocentně duševně nemocnej a sjetej :D jak to je, Honzo?!
Vždyť on je jenom nějakej týpek a vy jste Mafiáni, co řídí svět :D
Jak to je?! :D
The kangol is crazy
I kinda want to see QT's version of Shaft now...
Shit i wanna see that shafrantino opening so bad now
explains the hell out of jackie brown
💯🔥
Lmao people yell at the screen waiting for the actors to turn and acknowledge them. 🤣
Anyone know where this interview is from?
I thought my guy was wearing a tzatziki
