Proper home made shepherds pie (minced leftover lamb roast, mum made on Monday from the weekend roast) with diced veg and mashed potatoes on top. Cottage pie is Beef with mash on top. Mum also used leftover veg, diced lamb roast, mixed and put in pastry and made home made pasties. I has haggis and blood sausage with eggs and bacon, etc as breakfast in Scotland..it was all delicious!!❤❤❤

Hi Kinsey lovely…. What a rough experience- takes guts to willingly try foods
      However- I’m annoyed ☺️
If it wasn’t for the haggis,I’d probably wouldn’t be annoyed. Haggis is a Scottish food
So ,for me- since when was wales and Ireland and Scotland- Not British ?
It’s a pet peeve. British means ALL of us and I wish people would use their proper descriptions
Despite individual languages- there’s plenty of English spoken words
British Isles is- England,Wales,Scotland and Ireland- so,please whoever is compiling these vids for her,- Get It Right ‼️

Correction, Shepherds pie is made with minced/ground LAMB , hence Shepherds pie (sheep/shepherd). Cottage pie is minced/ground BEEF. Freshly made is the only way to eat both shepherds pie and cottage pie. Haggis is served with Neeps and tatties, it’s the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 national dish. NO Brits will be offended about Kinseys comments of Greggs sausage rolls, home made are better or M&S. As for the cottage pie, again, ITS BEEF NOT LAMB. Your facts are wrong.

Poor Kinsey, you should at least have got her a proper chicken tikka masala and shepherd's pie (which has minced lamb; cottage pie has minced beef) from a local pub, and a proper Cornish pasty - ready-made ones are disgusting!!! And apart from the fish & chips, you gave her only really stodgy stuff that the poorest of the poor ate. Next time, push the boat out a bit and give her some roast beef & horseradish (not ready-made!) & roast potatoes, apple pie & cream, stuff like that.

Digestives cookies had baking soda (like all baked goods) and back in the day, the advertising stated that it would aid digestion because of the baking soda. Basically marketing cookies as healthy. The theory was debunked, but everyone knows them by that name, so it continues. They cannot be sold in the US with that name.

I have refused to try alot of these foods, so good job! It has taken many visits, but I am finally ok with Indian food. Some of it anyway. I was very thin my first visit and I refused to try Fish and Chips due to the grease. Good to hear from an American its good. Perhaps I will try next time. ("chips", not "fries")...The terminology and spelling differences are fun. Malt Vinegar with the chips/fries. My younger son likes Malt Vinegar as well. My sons and I are very particular about foods there. I will try some of what you liked next time we visit. Love the chocolate. Agree, better there. My husband loves Marmite. I think its interesting.

A pasty (/ˈpæsti/) is a British baked pastry, a traditional variety of which is particularly associated with Cornwall, South West England, but has spread all over the British Isles, and elsewhere through the Cornish diaspora.
Pasties date back as far as the 13th century, at which time they were devoured by the rich upper classes and royalty. The fillings were varied and indulgent, often containing venison, beef, lamb and seafood like eels, flavoured with rich gravies and fruits.
