I haven't heard any makeup channels mention people with latex allergies, thank you for making me feel much less alone! It's a scary allergy, latex/natural rubber is in EVERYTHING! I appriciate the exposure!
Same! There is a couple of latex free lash glue I use one from Ardell but that thing is like superglue let me tell you

Me too, I’m also SEVERELY allergic to all forms of lash glue (latex free aswell) and I’m a makeup artist so I love lashes... let me now save some money to buy this 😂
Lisa Wang it’s not the latex, it’s the chemical in the glue that makes it adhesive (I can’t remember the name of it) so pretty much all eyelash glues, eyelash extension are out for me. My eyes are soooo sensitive, I tried to have a lash lift once and within 3 minutes my eyelids were on fire, had to have everything taken off and my eyes just completely blew up for about a week. Sucks!
I have tried a few different types of these magnetic eye lashes now and they work great! The only thing is that I cut them down to be only 3/4 lashes, as I just find that unless you apply the magnetic eyeliner really really thickly to the inner corners of your eyelid (where the liner would usually be finer) they just don’t stay down. And I ‘m not a fan of too much thick eye liner at the top inner part of the lash line.
I just looked these up....if you already have magnetic lashes you can just order the eyeliner for $19.99! I have A LOT of magnetic lashes...so I grabbed some!

watashiwamillo so your personality dictates if you are an intellectual or not? I don’t know if you watch Tati’s videos often but if you do you can clearly see that she is an intellectual. And her bubbly personality can show young girls that you can be smart, in love with what you do, even be nerdy about it and at the same time be your happy, true self. If someone has a dry personality and is an intellectual that’s fine but there is no need to bash those that are multi faceted. Also being an intellectual isn’t limited to just a few subjects. She maybe not be an intellectual in astrophysics(sorry Tati if you are) but it doesn’t mean she isn’t one in her own right. In her videos testing new products she clearly uses an intellectual approach. It’s called the scientific method. This video is the perfect example. If you look up the 6 steps you can see that she follows them. Any young girl who is interested in a STEM field can watch her videos and remember the steps and also see that they can smart and happy.
As an MRI technologist, PLEASE remove this kind of makeup before going into MRI :)

A company called Blossom Thing has used a part of this video for their advertisement. Needless to say I brought it to everyones attention in the comments that their product was not the product you were using.
Tati, we know that you see your comments. The top comments on several of your videos (especially here recently) have been from lovely viewers of yours who are hearing impaired and request that you enable some form of captions on your videos. The least you could do is enable the auto generated captions if you aren’t willing to have your videos formally captioned for them. Viewers have been asking you for MONTHS, and still no mention at all to even consider this for them.
Also, if she doesn't want to hire someone to write captions, many communities have volunteers that will do them.
Spenna exactly, I know I wouldn’t mind doing it at all in my spare time. There’s at *least* one or two popular/top comments on the majority of her videos in the last few months asking for them.

she's responded to a similar comment on another video saying that she doesn't know why captions aren't working on her videos and that she has contacted RUclips about it and is trying to get it sorted out.

i am by no means a scientist but if the liner could be somehow transparent (if someone's not feeling like adding black eyeliner to their makeup look) this could change everything!
i think the main problem would be that you'd see the band of the lashes & black liner kinda masks it

Aestheticalyy Not really, as some people don’t want to fuss with or don’t like the idea/application of using glue and just want something that will wipe away relatively easily. Plus the lashes are reusable
I love that idea, but I think they'd have to use something other than iron oxide because it is dark brown/black in color.
Yeah, the issue is you need a permanent magnetic metal (iron, aluminium, nickel, cobalt) and those metals have colour. Ferrite is the ceramic compound in fridge magnets which uses iron oxide, and alnico alloy is iron combined with aluminium, nickel, and cobalt which is stronger than Ferrite and used for motors and speakers. The liner probably uses a form of ferrite since it’s more common.

I had it and the only issue I had was it doesn’t have adjustable heat and the temp. It went up to was too high for my hair. I returned it with no problem at all.

I've tried it, and I found it difficult to use. There are lots of videos on RUclips showing you how to use it in different ways depending on the type of curl that you are wanting, but for me, I very much prefer a basic 1" or 1 1/4" barrel curling iron to curl my hair. It could just be my hair type that doesn't really work with the Tyme iron, but I don't think I'd be recommending it to anyone
The chi air curler is cheaper and way easier to use and as a regular flat iron I've used way better!
I used it for a while, but it gave me the same results as a curling iron. I don’t think it’s worth the money

Girl, some people love it. Me personally, not worth the money. It’s better to get a good straightener and learn how to curl with it. The material the Tyne is made of is pretty cheap, smells when it’s heated up, and just not great in my opinion! I sold mine! But, you could always check their return policy!!

the lashes were ardell magnetic lashes and the magnetic eyeliner was by the brand Moxie. They stayed on all day and I had zero irritation on my eyes. I wore lashes one other time in my life and it was years ago and I remember hating the way they felt on my eyes. So I’m sold on magnetic lashes and liner.

Tati I agree completely on using powder on your brows. I have used everything but somehow always end up back with my brow powders
Me too. I have a cushion brow "something" fluidy thing which is okay for the outer edge but too sharp for all over. I always end up saying I love the look of a powder more
Same here! I use a thick brow pencil to fill in my brows (they're pretty patchy) and then use powder to shape them. Takes about 5 minutes, I always go back to powders haha
I’ve never actually used a brow pencil lol I’ve bought them thinking I would love them, & go right back to my powders! so much easier
Same. I have bought into the dip brow craze but come back to my powders every time.
Actually to me it was the opposite, I started with powder and switched to a pencil. I just don’t need to do much with my brows anyway so I fill in just a tiny bit in the front and that’s it. Powder just makes it look extensively bolder and way too much for an everyday look.
Just as an FYI you can totally buy the drugstore magnet lashes and use this eyeliner with it. It works and it’s wayyyy cheaper.

Me too!! And I even bought the magnetic Ardell lashes and I can’t get them to look right on the inner corners (they stick out too far from my eyelid) and they feel really awkward and heavy on.
I’m going to look tomorrow and buy a pair😊

I was wondering if you could please review any or some of the cheaper versions that you see on Amazon? maybe do a 'drugstore' type comparison. Also I was wondering how thin can you get the liner to get with it still working? I have hooded eyes so that is a concern. I love that you tested it over another liner. As always you are awesome!
Doll, this is a cheaper version. I seen another channel that one was for 100 FRIGGING DOLLARS, CRAZY!
I tried a cheaper version off amazon for Halloween. Worked perfect! The liner was a little difficult just like she described, I put it over another liner with no problem. They stayed on all night with no issue. I do think they stay a little better if you put them on while the liner is a little damp. The shape definitely isn’t as natural looking as what she has, but I was going for a dramatic effect when I bought them.
I would hesitate to use cheap ones...cheap metals on your eye sounds like a bad idea

Do your eyeliner with regular liner, then put a small line of the magnetic liner over top... works great👌👌

Samantha Jennings I can get the same curl I got with my wand. It’s all in the angle you use the Tyme Iron. The creator posted a bunch of video to show how you can get different curls by using it in different ways. Maybe look up those videos before buying it to see if it can do what you want. I tried it for the first time when I didn’t have anywhere to go so if I messed up it didn’t matter. Lol

If you buy some cheap ish lashes, cut them in half and stick them on it two parts. Can’t remember who mentioned it in a video but it helped loads when I was new to them

Honestly, you put them on long enough and often enough, it's not really that hard. Practice getting a thin, even line of glue on the lash, and waiting at least 30 seconds. That's honestly the hardest part. It just takes practice. I can do it pretty well even with my full set of long nails.

maybe you can use one liner to do the main work, then go over with the magnetic liner where the lash will be.

I just found them at Sprouts and bought a coconut water highlighter in ice ice baby and it’s amazing! So beautiful and it looks and goes on sooo smooth! It doesn’t exaggerate my pores/textured scars like other highlighters can.
I also searched some shadows that were really nice but I was in a hurry and couldn’t decide so I just grabbed the highlighter.
I like their lip sticks, the cute wash of color is so natural and pigmented in my opinion ! 🤗
I made my own magnetic eyeliner with a nice transparent eyelash adhesive dipped in cosmetic oxide powder - once the line is dry the lashes adhere to the oxide powder and it stays put all day.
here is my tip go in with your fav liner do your wing whatever your gonna do and then just go over that liner with the liner for the magnetic lashes and then they will stick and you don't just have to rely on this liner being your base not sure if that makes sense. I don't have this product but I am sure this would help someone.
like do not go over the liner entirely just blot the liner that attracts the magnet by the lash so its enough to attract the magnet

I like the magnetic accent lashes from Ardell. A lot of people complain about them, but if you cut the bottom set of each lash into 3 pieces, they are so easy to put on. Instead of trying to put the whole strip on accurately, you're only having to put each section on one at a time. Once I figured that out, my life changed. Glue irritates my lash line because I have some random natural lashes that grow well above the regular lash line.
