CBM is a prime example of why rage arts shouldn’t be in the game.
Definitely one of the things I wish had been exclusive to T7 and left there.
Loool! Landing rage art still needs skill and timing. Its the receivers fault for mashing and dont just adjust and just falling for it over and over. If you get hit by rage arts a lot. Its on you. Train more. 🤣
@jonjonpuyat8606 For me, it's not getting hit by them. I came from a time in Tekken before rage arts, even the rage mechanic in itself.
You can't put pressure on an opponent that you're ahead of in life total anymore.
Not unless it's by a large enough margin to survive it and still be ahead.
And now they have heat, which isn't spent for using a rage art, like rage drive was in T7.
They're giving too many opportunities for players to keep coming back from the dead when they're being outplayed for that round.
@@XenoGuru ya i get you and I bet I came from a much older era than you are. I'm talking tekken 2 here. Even played tekken 1. Anyways yea.. Frustrating isnt it? That you lost because of these available resources nowadays. Now that I think about it and recall the T6 days or lower, it's really hard to comeback when youre ahead of like 80% hp or more but maybe I just dont think about it that much if I lose that's it he outplayed me I dont blame the new added mechanics whatsoever. Maybe i'm not that competitive anymore. Just having fun
@jonjonpuyat8606 You and me are definitely from the same generation then. I started playing Tekken 2 in the mall arcade in 1995. I didn't get to play T1 until it came out on the PS1. That one I never saw in an arcade near me.

I still love the game. The rage art just always made me paranoid to go attack them. Just because I was so used to rushing them when their health was low.
Alisa underrated.
Shes a top 10 character currently.
Feng, King, D.Jin, Drag, Law.
Reina, Xiaoyu, Jun, Azu, Alisa.
She's also very easy to learn. Her moveset is very friendly to new players. Victor's is as well.
completely agree with your list. id just like to add that jin is also really stupid. I cant believe his d2 is the way it is. His lows are too good in general. D2 isnt launch punishable bz 90% of the cast, d4 high crushes and has decent range, hellsweep is hellsweep. His ff2, f4 are retarded moves. he has evasion
@@XenoGuru Easy to learn, friendly movelist, but has a huge downside - predictable movements. Got a very specific movements in first frames of attack, and they are so clean, that ppl have a lot of time to react to them. So change Alisa to Jin in your list :| That's one hell of character in cqc if you get yourself launched - 70-80% that this is a last time when you are got initiative.

Controversial comment i respect victor more than alisa dont get me wrong alisas cool but her chainsaw gimmick can be such a pain the more times you block it the more your reset in a 50/50 and power crush isnt worth the exchange cause of the damage they do plus those of you who say rage art is scrub reaction to button mashers are the same people who use power crush if they being pressured same thing in my book

@@GunnerZetto sometimes all of the Players doing that. Depend on how are they mood or another. But imo, Chanel is one of the consistent player. He just lose sometimes cuz his mains is a worst char abt defense.

Victor don't have crazy mix-ups like the others characters. That's why the gameplay looks simple. There's nothing to do with Victor just wait for the opponent unfortunately.

Everyone spams rage arts. I play Raven and am learning Shaheen and I've seen all sorts of characters, Jin, multiple dragonuvs and Alisas spamming rage arts. Don't get me started with King. The problem is the rage art and heat mechanics itself. Tekken 8 is very offense orientated. They need to make the heat engagers and rage arts less strong.
Alisa is ass to fight against man. Her chainsaws are crazy. There is no "honest" tekken character. If you want something honest then everyone plays Jin or Kazuya which people still complain about anyway lol.
Victor isn't as strong in high rank compared to Dragonuv, Jun, and Devil Jin. Everyone that knowledge checks him can duck his laser, his perfumer stance, and punish his teleports. Shaheen is being slept on with his infamous slide lol which I think is harder to deal with than Victor's (up 1+2) explusuonnn. And Shaheen has a guaranteed 50/50 mixup with a guard break after using a heat engager.
Anyone who plays victor is a scrub.
