- Today I'm adding access to the LEGO train station! I really like how this all turned out, and this makes the whole station look a lot more realistic! I might have to move the LEGO Corner Kiosk, which was the gift with purchase to go along with the LEGO Tudor Corner, but finding a new home for that will be a fun challenge. If you like what you saw, make sure to like the video and subscribe! If you have any feedback, definitely leave it in a comment down below!

Station is awesome!🫵👍✌️
Thank you!
Great progress. Not keen on the under the track idea… I think you should looking at creating a brick built staircase leading off the end of the platform then over the railway line to the other platform.. I think a walkway over the track adds height and interest.
I couldn't imagine one in my head that looked good and didn't obstruct the view behind it, but I'll have to try it again and see if I can come up with anything.
Nice video, but in my opinion the starway entrance doesn't look nice next to the corner kiosk because it's towering it and the desings are different.
I agree - now that I've slept on it for a few days, I think I'm going to remove the stairway structures and instead make ramps at the ends of each platform. I'm also reconsidering making a staircase to go above the platform, but that's tentative.
Hey, thanks for trying stairwell/tunnel idea. I think this will turn out to be really cool!
I like the stairway buildings and the platform placement works for me!… you kind of did everything I would suggest. Other than details!
Thank you! And details will come, don't worry!
Secure your slope to the platform with a Hinge Brick 1 x 2 👍
Interesting video. I would move the platform in the middle outwards so that it is more realistic. So I know that from Germany in France I know that they have such double tracks.
LG
I would keep the stairway under the tracks only bc they won't be able to cross the path if the train is there like it is now
The train station is looking great. I'm guessing you can't move the pull off track further out and make the middle platform wider? Then you'd have space to custom make some stairs and a lift (either up or down) and still have space to walk round each side of them.If not then moving the platform makes the most sense, because the layout you have at the moment is a bit unusual anyway.
Fantastic roof btw for the main building, I think a basic sloped roof would look fine on a lift or stairs. gives me some ideas to change up the one I have on mine (standalone however, no space for a city so I went all in on a large station, lemme know if you need any more ideas.
Personally I do think a footbridge over the top would look best though if you custom make it and not use the premade pieces. Can do many styles and have some great detail in it then. However there are m,any underpasses here at train stations, so I think that would be fine. However I would turn the entrances 90 degrees, so that figs don't have to walk directly away from the platform then double back on themselves.
Keep up the great work
If I pull out the track further it'll no longer be on grid, and I don't entirely know what is going to go on the other half of the baseplate, so I don't want to move the track.
I couldn't imagine a good looking staircase in my head, but maybe I'll have to build one and see if I can make anything that looks good. Now that I've slept on it for a few days, I think I might actually remove the underpass structures, and instead make a ramp at the ends of each platform. I think that'll make for a cleaner look, but I'll be sure to try out the staircase going over the top to see if I can make anything work.
@ChrisBricks02 it depends on the style you want I suppose. There are many classic iron bridges or other metal at UK stations. Or I'd go with brick. But ramps at the end of the platform would look fine, and maybe allow you to put something else on the station platforms instead. Waiting shelter? Looking forward to whatever you do
I’ll have to look into that, thank you for the suggestions! As of right now I think the ramps at the end of the platform would look the best, but that could easily change if I come up with a design of bridge that I like!
Under stairs you could have an animal hiding like a cat or mouse or something.
For the ramp, is there a way to connect the slopes and plate with hinges? Just curious
I'm sure there is, but I didn't have any on hand that would work.
Put an animal under the stairs, maybe a squirrel
Good idea!
