    dude, its all about confidence and focus. you build it through training. you build up technique and skill and power and then once you try some really ballsey stuff you're at a level where you're either comfortable with what you're doing or you're disciplined enough to not let your mind define the limits of your body.

    I love when Laurent says "blablablabla" :D And OMG, my fav part of the whole video [except every part when i can see Williams on the screen XD] is when Chau says that his infuence was "Dragon Ball Z"!
    I adore this quys XD

    I was being all serious asking who influenced them in the philosophy, and Chaud goes "do you know the teletubbies?" LOOOOOOL
    This only shows that evolution is in what you feel, not in what you think.
    I just loved it, great day

    That "black french dude" is named Sebastien Foucan and he is the Co-founder of parkour, but the true founder is David Belle. Both Belle and Foucan were best friends when they were kids.

    Guyz, it´s all about rage! If something kicks you really down, just stand up and show to everyone you are THE BEST! My opinion!

  • @timflowing
    @timflowing 15 лет назад

    It is not about rage. If you are in the rage state of mind you do not think clear. You have to be calm and do it for yourself. Do not do it to show anyone else, do it for YOU.
    If rage is your only motivation I would ask you to look within yourself, forgive and find your own way. Do it for you, becouse if you do it for someone else, what will you do when that person is not with you?
    Be calm so you can think clear. =)

    I agree completly. this things, this discussion, is not far from the problems some martil arts have ones with others.if any of you knows about the evolutions of the martial arts, including Bruce lee´s way of thinking,(and I complete secure about the influence on those guys)you know it´s all retorica. When the fact is what you do every day. Stop talk and go training.
    Somethig to make you think:
    The true test of a man´s character is what he does when no one is watching.

    words of wisdom shot my way : "do you know the teletubbies?" after all these years, it makes sense!

    It's a liitle different than you wrote:) Yamakasi is the name of the group of Chau, Williams, Laurent, Charles, Guylain and Malik. They wanted to name their "band" somehow and then Guylain came with "Yamakasi" thing. And it last like this because it means "Strong Spirit, Strong Mind and Stron Man".
    Parkour is the name for the Art of movement, yes, but David Belle, cousin of Chau and Williams named it like that. For Yamakasi it is still Art du Dicplacement ^^

    and that's why i adore Williams. He really cares about Art du dicplacement [do i correctly wrote it?oO] not being in the movies and gaining popularity as an actor or something... That's whyi really like him. Really. Hope i will meet him someday ^^;

    i think that parkour is not only for 16-20years old. myself im 12 and i think its fun to train. so parkour is for every age from 0 to 99999999!

    If I was there, i would of asked them
    "How do you guys conquer fear? I mean, when you are hanging from some certain hight, keeping in mind that one wrong move can even cause your own life. So, how do you guys conquer that type of mentality?"
    Another question would be "How high have you guys jumped off from a building. What was your thought before you jumped off and what was your thought after you jumped off?"
    God, now thinking about it. I can ask them millions of questions..... :(
