Transnet Phelophepa train to Saldanha

On Saturday 29 May Transnet's medical train called the Phelophepa travelled to Saldanha where it will stay for a couple of weeks. We caught the train at Koperfontein and chased it to a level crossing just outside of Saldanha. Four class 35s (GE U15C) were at the front.

Nice footage. Was 4 diesels really necessary or was it a power move?

Thanks ... Apparently the train departed with only 2 diesels but past Kraaifontein one of them failed so they send another 2 then to assist.
