The fourth and final chapter in the book of Ruth as taught by Pastor Paul LeBoutillier at Calvary Chapel Ontario, Oregon. Go to www.ccontario.com for a complete list of thru-the-Bible teachings.
Seriously Pastor Paul you need to go and preach to other churches ⛪️ all over the US. Your way of teaching is amazing. I can understand everything. I am so glad God put you on earth in my time because it’s clear the Holy Spirit really works in you and is helping people like me understand Gods word. So happy for these teachings and that I can watch them all as I go through the Bible. No one else has ever helped me understand like you. Thank You Jesus for Pastor Paul.
“ a son has been born to Naomi, and they named him Obed, who was the father of Jesse, who was then the father of David” and for some reason that makes me wanna cry. Bless the Son of David our Redeemer
Thank you Pastor I've been binge-watching a lot of your studies and the Lord has certainly gifted you with breaking down the Bible in a way I've never heard before. So thank you very much it's a blessing to me and most importantly praise the Lord Jesus!
Thank you Pastor for this wonderful journey through Ruth. I'm in a space in my life that seems with a path but going thru this book shows that God loves me and has not forgotten me. He reassured through your messages that All things work together for the good to them that love the Lord. Thank you Jesus for working it all out even when I just don't see it... Hallelujah ❤
Thank you for your teaching. I am going through the Bible with your video, from Genesis and today I completed Ruth. God has gifted you and you make it so interesting. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family Mightily.
Praise the Lord Once Ruth was with Boaz, she did not have any tribulation. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. He is then blessed forever. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ
Great ending! Such a hope-filled Book and your teaching too remind us of that beautiful redemption. That which we put our faith in - not blindly or in vain even if current pain may want to dictate otherwise. Thanks for the excellent teaching and helping us refocus and understand. So relevant for right now. I'm sure I could say that at any stage of my twisty turning walk with the Lord not just during some crazy pandemic and these days we find ourselves in.
You're more than welcome Chrissy!! I'm glad these studies are a blessing. If you ever have any Bible questions feel free to shoot me a note at paul@ccontario.com. God bless!!
I was browsing on here looking for some teachings to supplement my Bible study on Judges, and I ran across your channel. I enjoyed listening to you talk about Judges so much, I listened to Ruth as well. Your easy-going, conversationalist-style preaching make the characters very human and relatable. Thank you so much for these videos! Please keep them coming. :) -Your new friend in GA
Thank you Pastor Paul for these Bible studies. They fill in many of the blank parts in my own study of the Bible. Once again thank you for sharing. Blessings to you, your family and your congregation. All praises to The Most High.
I found a new friend here Ps Paul God bless you richly for the Grace with which you share and teach scriptures .I get so much help here as I do my personal studies.
I am wrapping up a quarter teaching my Sunday class about Joshua, Judges and Ruth. I'm glad that God guided me to these videos, which have helped me very much. Thank you for your thoughtful lessons, Paul, and for making them available on RUclips. May God continue to bless you!
Thank you so much for this series! I have been watching you for a while and the youth group I lead, I decided, would be going through Ruth. These videos have done much to help guide our study. Thank you!
Wait a minute- Ruth was the widow of Mahlon. Boaz was the kinsman redeemer. The point of the kinsman redeemer is to have sons (or a son) in the name of the dead husband, right? I think that's what is supposed to happen. I had to go back and see what his name was again. It's basically said that Boaz and Ruth give birth to Obed, and that he is the son of Naomi. Mahlon's name exists, but he wasn't given any credit! Maybe (I'm assuming) Mahlon and Kilion were wicked, and that's why they died. Because if they were Godly, maybe the whole situation would be different! But at the very least, here at the end Obed would be considered the son of Mahlon. He's not even in the son of Elimelek; he's the son of Naomi, brought forth by Boaz and Ruth.... I guess it was these two ladies that were Godly? Maybe God used the wicked men of the family to go to Moab to give Ruth and Orpah a chance, save Ruth, and ultimately save and bless Ruth, Naomi, and even Boaz!

Beautiful study, thank you

Wonderful.
It is interesting that Boaz is mentioned in the lineage, and not Ruth's first husband, who was legally the parent.
