Husqvarna Nuda 900R (I Changed The Wadding In The End Pipe For Stainless Steel Pan Scourers)

I bought a Chinese copy of an SC Project end can for my Nuda 900R. The exhaust note was far to sharp at higher RPM So I have changed the wadding in the end can for stainless steel pan scourers.
The idea is to create a deeper exhaust note because the loosely woven stainless steel scourers will absorb the exhaust sound waves more readily than the original tightly packed wadding.

Did the steel wool make it sound deeper? I can't really tell the difference, maybe in real life? Thanks!

Hi Derick, any chance you could show me some pictures of how you mounted the endpipe on the exhaust itself? And did you get the 51mm or the 61mm? Curious to know since I ordered mine as well, but haven't been able to get a good fit. Cheers mate

I can't remember the specifics, but my end can came with a cone adaptor which I cut down. I also use both springs which came with my can but also extended one spring by adding another spring. You can see the cone I use in the video at 1 minute in. I also bought a short honeycomb style db killer which helps put a bit of tension onto the springs.

Are they still in the exhaust if not how long did they last

Yes they are still in the exhaust and still work fine, however I do change back to the OE exhaust from time to time because it is really noisy.
