Check out the book called Steven Demogorgon. Its full of spice, action packed, mystery, suspense.....
You should try to read the Nicci French Frida Klein series. It's dark and messed up 😎. And if you do please read it in order because there is also underlying plot going on.
Behind closed doors is really good. It's a quick read as well. You should try it, at least start it, just 2 chapters. Give it a chance. It's really good. And i love psychological thrillers.
I'm totally cracking up....try it...two chapters...just try it! Maybe I will - it's in a box right now pending a donation. And I can always get it from the library. I'm trying to create space 🤣 Delcuttering is hard!
I loved The Diviners series by Libba Bray. Even though I own the books, I would recommend the audio version for anyone who wants to try it.

Wow I’m shocked you haven’t read Pretty Girls. I have read all of Karin Slaughters books. Love her. You need to read Pretty Girls it’s great.
I've heard that Pretty Girls is a rough read - just haven't been able to psych myself up for it. Also that weird paperback size would make me nuts -- those were perfect for my commuting days! never say never!
