I just finished a tee and had the same issue with my contrasting neck band. I didn’t foresee the problem until after finished it and found that it was tight getting over my head because of the limited stretch.
lovely sweatshirt...are you able to find 100% cotton sweatshirt fabric? I hate all the synthetics that eventually "pill." we are moving to a cooler climate so I think I may be making some sweatshirts. Where do you purchase your sweatshirt fabric?
Thank you! I’ve bought sweatshirt fabric from Mood, Guthrie & Ghani, Sewing Studio, and Minerva but none of them were 100% cotton. Sometimes you can find 95% cotton/5% elastin and I don’t think that would pill much. Thanks for watching! 🥰 Lisa
