That's a pretty common failure on trailers especially if you are reaching gross weight. You need to replace not only those shackle pieces you touched but the bolts and and those equalizers (I think that's what they are called ) the parts that tie the springs together and share the weight they have bushings that wear out do both sides it's considered proper maintenance. Wile you are there check the bushings in the springs (put a bolt in an check for play) . Proper suspension maintenance saves tires as well..
What about the bushes on the other end of the springs, should've done them as well cause you'll have uneven wear now and have to replace them at some point?
i hope you checked the u bolts on the axle while you were there, most dont and if they get any play like the worn out bushings they will create a harmonic distortion that goes through the leaf springs and create hair line fractures until it breaks in half so make sure they are tight!. check it every year. theres nothing fun about losing an axle :)

you need a "snatch-strap" , these specifically designed for pulling.also throw something like a shirt on the rope/strap to keep it from coming back and hitting you if it was to break under tension.Do it SAFE !
honestly man with the rain where your at I would recommend coating the under side of your trailers with a rubberized paint or RHINO LINER blah blah you catch my drift, I bet that's your issue water damage waker steel

We had a local millionaire die like that. He had a yard like that but at the end there was a 8-10 foot drop off a concrete wall to the road and he slid down and went over and the mower landed on him killing him. His name was Jerry Garland he owned G and M oil.
or it may just be a crappy built trailer but you shouldn't have all the problems you have. I have 4 trailers that are used everyday for years that pull skid steers everyday and never have no issues other than breaks and tires.
I think we all get a mower stuck here and there I got mine stuck in the beginning of the year went to stop but it grew skis in the back had to call the wife and my 8year old daughter she drove and the wife and I lifted and pushed I'm a solo guy so I learned fast wet grass and small inclines walk behind or just use the 21" ha ha

Stihl wood boss 028 or 048 would be big enough i believe to handle most of what you would want or need to do.. ive personally used the 028 woodboss with a 16 and 18" bar for a 3 and 4 foot tree at the base

Just a idea from the looks of the video your trailer looks like its slating that could be the reason why your trailer tires wear down fast cause the hitch on the truck is to high when it's like that all the trailer weight is on the back tires of the trailer
You should learn how to tie a bowline knot. you will break the rope before the knot slips any at all the knot I seen him using was either a granny knot or a modified square knot. A granny knot will constantly slip to the point that it will come undone nd a Square Knot will tighten under a strain and will be next to impossible to undo afterwards. A bowline will tighten up on itself but when needed can be easily undone.

You need a heavier duty trailer. That trailer may be rated for that much weight, but those aren't made for continuous duty and everyday all day use.

You need a trailer with heavier duty axels and suspension

If you don’t buy a new trailer you should buy new leaf springs too they tend to sag and ware out quick with weight always sitting on the trailer

If those bushings was that bad the other end of the spring has bushings also I'm sure they are toast also.

Carry a couple planks, you can use them under the machine like a lever..
I would recommend packing bearings with grease also some time
