Enduring a Severe Thunderstorm in a Montana Fire Lookout

- In this video, we embark on a different style of camping - a fire tower. While many of these towers are no longer in use, the general public often has the opportunity to rent these towers for overnight stays during the summer months. What was a peaceful and calm evening quickly turned in a storm that I will never forget.

Yes THEY TRAFFIC OUR REPRODUCTIVE TISSUE CULTURES GLOBALLY PLAYING HOUSE AND GOD WITH OUR BABIES IN STRANGE HOUSEHOLDS
There are a billion people on earth that have the same blood type as me .. O-POSITIVE!! Yet only my DNA 🧬 can convict me of a crime !! The one and only !! SO WHY DOESNT YOUR HOUSEHOLD MATCH YOUR ORGAN TRANSPLANTS !? THE ENTIRE ORGAN IS DNA 🧬 NOT BLOOD TYPE !!
The sound of that rain and wind is mesmerizing. The sunrise spectacular!
It was something else right? Even wilder in person. Thanks for watching!
Hi! Found your video tonight. I live in eastern Washington State and on Wednesday the 25th, we had a bad storm go through knocking the power out for 10 hours! Camped out inside the house with head lamp and old-school walkman cassette player/radio with speaker.

Hi, I live in sweden and love nature❤ always been hiking in deep woods and mountains.
To be part of the nature is to enter another part of our selfe, I belive.
Another way to cook a wonderful stake is to put the stake in a plasticbag, throw in some rosemary, time, fresh garlic, salt ,pepper (pepper with lemonflawor is also greate)
Put in lots of honey, sweet chili sause, and some dark vinegar.
Close the bag and tos it around a bit, so everything blends together.
You can do this at home, the bag needs to be in a frige or coler.
When you arive at you camp-destination the meat is jucy and have lots of flawor😊
The stake can be in the bag for several hours.
When you Cook the stake, you can use the wet ingrediense that are left and you got a delicious gravy😋
Love your video, next time you got that lovely view and there are a thunderstorm coming, put the camera so we can see the lightning . Its facsinating to se.
Best of luck on your youtube-journey👍😊 Li from sweden

Just amazing. I would have been in my element up there as I'm obsessed with thunderstorms! I lived in South Carolina as a kid but now live in the UK and the storms are pathetic in comparison. But being born and raised in South Africa means steak is so close to my heart and those you cooked were just devine. Agree on the cast iron too! The scenery and peace up there is incredible. Great video fella and thank you for sharing with us.
A totally different experience being that high up. Was awesome to be able to get to be there!

That’s awesome I was there for a weekend with my wife and kids around 2014. We’ve stayed at most of the fire lookouts and ranger stations in northwest Montana over the years. It’s too bad it’s almost impossible to book one now any time except like one random Tuesday 3 months from now.
Yea I just turned on the alerts and was able to book this one a week prior. Got lucky with a cancellation for a Wednesday evening. Such an awesome experience! Have some others that I want to try and get into next summer.

Cheez-its, all the way in my opinion!!!
The key to cast iron cooking is to remember it was designed to hold the heat, so once it gets hot, it's usually in your best interest to lower the flame so the temperature in the pan remains steadier and the food doesn't burn.
Gorgeous camping location!!! Thanks for sharing it with us.
@@cassandraargo9017 solid tips with the cast iron for sure. I learnt that in the very beginning when I first started haha. Burned a lot of stuff in the Dutch oven 😂

@@hunter_pauley yeah, that temp thing is a beast to learn...a lot of good has been sacrificed over the years to its finicky nature, lol. You're way ahead of me in the cast iron game. Just found your channel. Love it!!
Awesome! Thanks for the watch and support.
Great video! My mentor always told me why something happened with food if something turned out not as expected. In the case of your mushy sweet potatoes there are a couple things that can cause them to get mushy. 1. The temperature was too low, causing them to steam instead of frying or sautéing. 2. There was too much liquid introduced. Sweet potatoes release moisture of their own and when combined with too much liquid they will steam as well. 3. You overcooked them, which will also cause them to turn mushy. This usually happens when the cut size is small. I like mushy sweet potatoes. They absorb flavors really well. That is why you often see mashed (sweet) potatoes on the side ;)
Very insightful info on the potatoes! The more you know 😄
