This is so true, I got a gpa of 2.5 this semester but already earning more than 1 lak per month because of my excellent programming skills and my niche is Android development. Knowing that many big software houses don't even ask for degree. I'm quite happy with my skill set.
Very true. Love from India. I was suffering from low cgpa even after online classes. I had even attempted suicide 4 times because of my low attention span leading to lose cgpa. I am even suffering from ADHD. Recently I jumped from the 3rd floor roof of my building but I survived. After that I decided to switch my degree from engineering to business management. But I m living a happier life. I m even doing an internship at marketing and I am really happy with it.
If a person having this much good CGPA is not functional in something specific at the time of interview, it doesn't mean that he's dumb. It's not that he failed rather the system failed. The academia focuses more on theory and less on practical implementation. The person having 2.36 was doing programming (practical implementation) for different clients. His practical experience was desired by this employer. I bet turn it the other way around and make them both guys go for an interview to some university for an entry level job in academia. There the guy with 3.94 would be more desired and functional. Since he would have much better command on the courses to be taught.
Ahmed Zahid yes brother teaching is incomplete and boring without any practical demonstration and moreover the teachers available are not well qualified to compensate for the loss of any real world example
It is really really important to have skills before you get into any job! But bro, 3.94 isn't a joke at all. The one who studies all his four years of graduation isn't that much fool, the way you've showed us.
Allah mehnat ka phal hr ik ko deta ha ...as a muslim we should beleived in Allah ...laraib didnt get this job becuause Allah didnt want to...simple Allah have someother plans for him even more than that this job
Farzam Maqsood. I just loved your statement, in fact it's not just a statement but a fact. All things depend on our almighty lord, the one and most powerful. Well said. Love from India.
Well I'd like to point out a few things. First of all, what we all hear "CGPA doesn't matter at all", it's actually not true. The corrected statement should be, "CGPA isn't everything". So you see, both are quite different statements. You need a minimal of CGPA, that is what I think. Anything above a 3.3 is what I'd say a good cgpa. Then comes, 'ECA's' the hackathons you have participated or let's say the coding competitions you've won. That plays a vital role as well. So does, the proper utilization of time to get into the practical world. The person who got 3.94, I guess was a dumbfuck who only focused on his academics and the reason he didn't get the job. I guess he never got the proper guidance or had strict parents. But a cgpa as low as 2.36 won't define you a job even if you have an outstanding ECA. You need a minimal of CGPA, atleast for the first job.
The real thing is to maintain both CGPA and Your practical skills. Waheed as shown in the video, had 2.3 CGPA i guess, but with that he also had practical skills. Nor he had highest CGPA nor he became a master of Practical skills which he was acquiring. It's all about balance. He got skills, not so good, not so bad, he got CGPA not so good, not so bad. Your degree is a key 🗝 to your job. How you prove yourself to them is by your Skills. This video is giving absolutely right message. You should not allow your Study life to suck life out of you.
We must focus on both sides CGPA and as well as skill set. Well I am professional Software Engineer better CGPA is a plus but you must build your skill set during study by watching online tutorials and doing some practical work which will help you during interview. Laraib Khan is a bright student but he doesn't know how to solve the task which means he only focus on studying rather than doing some practices or practical work. On other side Waleed Khalid focus on practical work and he has many clients so that is why he was able to solve the problem and get hired by the company. In my professional career no body ask me about my CGPA i have given a lot of interviews which doesn't mean CGPA is not important it is but do some practices which help you in practical task and study will help you answering some theoretical stuff questions.
Oh dears you couldn't get it. The actual message about experience. The toper who was stucked with books all the time, but on the other hand an average student had practical experience. There are more things beyond studing. Organization doesn't need bookish definitions rather practical work.
Well this video is partially correct...because their are some students who study only for marks not for the expriences.....this video is perfect example of this....In my class their are many students who are better in bookish language but they are not good in General Knowledge.....at the end I want to say that....this video teaches me that marks and knowledge both are important....not only marks or not only practical knowlege.... (3.94 GPA out from 4...I guess???)
Thats really true logo ka mindset kuch aisa hai ki apko sab aana chahiye but industry apko kitna aata hai vo nahi dekhti aap kaise tackle karte ho kya best strategy aap use kar sakte ho vo dekhti hai
Misguiding video for both having high cgpa as well as low cgpa.It demotivates those who are working hard as well as making them overconfident who are scoring low as well as not learning any extra skills. Disliked it.
GPA matters but it is not everything. The thing is you have to prove yourself. Our class topper has got 3.95 CGPA but she failed 3 times etea medical entrance exam.GPA lana ka bohat sara tareeka hota but some arent that much talented..Baki samaj to ati hogi.
Hehehehehe axcha g..... Asy ni chly ga........ Asy achy students ko zalil ni krna chaheya....... Din rat party h wo b..... It is all about luck....and nothing more
Please don't say bad about this video. This is reality. They are not conveying a wrong message, they are just saying that skills are important than marks and this is the reality. Any company will not hire you even if you're a topper but with no skills. Being a topper doesn't mean he/she will have extraordinary skills. This video is not discouraging any topper instead, they're just saying that one has to develop skills also along with studies. Please stop all that bullshit in the comment section if you're not getting the true meaning of this video.
Both must be needed. Knowledge and skill. CGPA is also matter. Because for doing CA Or PHD or mphil u must need good CGPA. I am from Bangladesh. Here for admitting CA you must need 1st class mark from S.S.C. to Post graduation and beside of this you also need better MS-Office knowledge, Strong base on English and some Extra knowledge about ERP or some professional software. Other wise most of us not get better job.
This is good video but it depends on your mind. Mostly students are camming (ratta) and got high cgpa and do not know professional skills. By that cause I appreciate this video.
CGPA doesn't matter if you are satisfied with 1-3lpa jobs. To get package above 4.5lpa or want to become a reputed scientist cgpa matters. They keep criteria of 70%. So just stop making fools to freshers and de-motivating them. Motivate freshers to bring good marks.
a great message if you want to acquire a job in market focus on your skills also not only GPA or gold salver medal. in market the thing matter is your skills not GPA even i have seen a toper in market which worked under supervision of his backbencher while GPA matter in some major govt organization which have require 3+ GPA for there job
I haven’t seen any guy with high gpa ever fail .. see the point is high cgpa means you have worked hard or you are naturally very smart .. either ways u r a worthy asset .. skills can be developed over time anyway .. one thing I would agree with is if the topper has attitude , and thinks he is the best .. You what happens next right ??..
No one would say stupid things as shown in the video. Lol! Why would anyone say that you should hire me because I m a gold medalist, what nonsense! It's like mocking those hardworking guys who studied well to attain that gpa.
Not all people with good cgpa read only books and bad cgpa have practical knowledge. This video should have been uploaded 10-15 years back. You're late.
But if u want admission in some repotted University like ICAR for PhD u need a good CGPA otherwise u are not eligible or like PMRF Scholarship for Doing Phd or reasearch so there is different different criteria for different places like For topper also have a criteria I.e without NET exam clear u r enrolled for PhD and get scholarship amount plus HRA
Hahaha is video k likers wo log hy jo apny class k topper sy jaltay thy aj ye video dek k onka dil tandaa hoa hoga ..barry jazby my like kr dya hy back benchers ny😅😅
It's true CGPA does not matter ,it's a right platform for those guyz who have knowledge but was only kicked off in admission process in Colg,Higher Colg ,Degree By CGPA this is the right platform to show that we have skills which is our Strength and not to those Toppers who only rutify
sarfraj ali oooo bhai marks le ke chaatoge kya....ki experience v hona chaaiye ....pass tho hrr insaan kr lega....kbhi suna nhi kya. ..... #knowledge is power. ....got it....☺☺
😂😂😂😂 Yaar tum toppers to hote hi pagal ho.. Mr. Vibhuti Narayan Mishra.. Topper hone ka fayda nhi hai, ye society ki galat thinking hai ki jo zyada score karta hai wo zyada smart hota hai.. There is a difference between the one who score better and who is smart.. Ye 3 ghanto ke memorizing test se bata diya jaata hai ki kiska future achha hai.. Yaar ye education system ka Kuch nhi ho sakta.. Aaj Kal kisi ke passion ki koi kadar nhi hai.. Isliye ye European countries humse aage nikal rahi hai..
Now, all the guys should not stop studying looking at this video, atleast maintain a decent cgpa like 8/10 with good coding skills, it should be not be like you lost opportunities from big companies just because you have a bad cgpa.
Parhai k Sath Knowledge hona be zaroori bas kitaabein Ratt lene se kuch nhi hota ... Jo parh rahe ho uska concept hona be zaroori hai ... Kayi baar ratta maar k insaan no achay le leta hai par usay knowledge nhi hoti ...
OK, so this is pretty incomplete and vague. While the thing with the interview shown in the video IS right, its incomplete. CGPA does matter in most (in fact, I think ALL) aspects, but you just do not require knowledge on paper, you also need it in practice. The example shown is incorrect because it was about a job that required skills and practice, but if it had been about some other job that required theory more, then the first guy with the higher CGPA would have TOTALLY got the ob.
professional skills market may kaam karnay sa atay, university may gold medal lanay sa nahee. par iz ka yeah matlab nahee q gold medalist dont get job. my cousin is gold medalist in pharmacy from punjab university he is pharmacist in canada. earning handsome money.
Sonu Lohani actually i kind of agree with you because the errors in the laptop can be figured out by the topper as he usually spend his time is read about it...i know i am also not a topper but i dont appreciate this video
Topper became sad. In today's world only jobs are given to those who are chosen. If I would be in his place I would hire both of them. Even though the topper don't know about how to fix errors he would learn it faster. The most strange interview question is "Why I should hire you?" First we should know whether we went to the right company that meets our skills in that job. If a running racer goes for a swimming race it doesn't make sense at all. Always focus on kingdom of heaven by following 10 commandments of bible and everything will be added to you automatically. If you get the best job don't turn to alcohol or more money which is the root of all evils for sure.
It is bullshit.I have never seen Gold medalist getting rejected in this manner.Interviewers always consider academic achievments because it reflects your potential and hardwork. They always had an edge over others until and are best choice for the position. If you do not agree then kindly look at the toppers of CSS,PMS,PCS and other competitive exams.
I got 1 dead backlog 1st year ( cleared that sub) in 1st year now I'm in 4th year will i clear the eligibility criteria will dead backlogs matter in big companies like amazon sde, cisco , microsoft
I focused on books a lot of time to get good score but after watching this show it means you wasted your time with theories so can't believe this I will
The video should be titled as GPA matters if you have experties and other interpersonal skills... Definitely only GPA isn't a demand of any firm, it's basically other skills as well that matters.
CGPA or Percentage is required for Criteria now a day's if u don't have enough marks the u don't have to go for interview, kafi mehanat lagi hogi ye video banane ko but ye sab bakwas fir se mat banao.. overall performance of artists are nice and make another video with positivity....
I'm sad 😔 for Laraib Khan, he thought he can succeed in life just by a degree. These types of students mostly wander jobless. It's not there fault. It's the fault of Institute, which during four years, don't even think of telling there students that Skills are also important. They just receive money & at the end of graduation, Give you a shit piece of paper and tell you that now go wherever you want, we have made your future. Congrats!!!
Not all toppers are failures, I have seen many people who initially were toppers with no skills but now they have got handsome package from Big financial companies, hence this video title is totally wrong.
This is not true. Nowadays, you have Pakistan Engineering Council and all the Engineering courses are enforced through it's influence. Also the Engineering studies in Pakistan are now focussed more on practicals. So it's stupid to say that you can't have skills if you have 3.5+ CGPA.
What's the point in this video? Focus on practical knowledge and not on what's on syllabus. Don't know about rest of world but in India you can easily top in engineering if you only focus on book because exam here are completely theoretical. But what company want is your practical skill. So focus on practical knowledge now i am not saying that you should stop learning from books at all :P
false video. every professionals need entry level job for gaining skills, and cgpa will highly matter on that part. Also if your academic concepts all clear you will learn skill more quickly and get promotions quickly. So university cpga and basic concept always matter.
Wait untill these students hit the corporate life. Phir pta chley ga CGPA matter krta ha ya experience. But again getting degree isba good thing but it isnt a shortcut to higher position or higher salleries which most people think. If you think by doin an MBA or some sort of engineering degree you will get money phir rab rakha. Degree ka faida sirf usko ha jo inventor ha. Not for people like me jo sirf is lye krtey han k paisa bn jaye
This is Reality but not the complete Reality. If you study for only CGPA and degree without getting skills you are just wasting your time Got the Best CGPA + Skills . Because Organization nothing to do with your CGPA they just want to hire the person who generate revenue for them and this is not done with CGPA this is done with skills and experience .... By the way i my self student of Information Technology 6 Semester (CGPA 3.76).
CGPA will take you to the interview table. Skills will get you the job.
R
and " WILL " take you to company owner.
Absolutely right

Ahmed Zahid yes brother teaching is incomplete and boring without any practical demonstration and moreover the teachers available are not well qualified to compensate for the loss of any real world example
Bro 2.36 how u apply for job think this first as 3.3 is pass creiaateria by CBSE
bro..cgpa is something else
Fail system ko b apne jesa ek chahiye hoga.
You are right
WTF bhai
3.94 cgpa in bs Softwaring and you don't know about software error
It is really really important to have skills before you get into any job! But bro, 3.94 isn't a joke at all. The one who studies all his four years of graduation isn't that much fool, the way you've showed us.
Exactly, It's like they have depicted in a wrong way, they are showing like nerds are fools.
Absolutly correct
No disrespect towards any religion but Allah or God should not be accountable for failures then person will never learn his mistake from life
Skills are most important than good CGPA....but CGPA is important as well.....so plz hardworking is compulsory for both CGPA and skills. .
Well both the things are important, CGPA will bring you up and competent, while as your skill and knowledge will make your CGPA and career valid!

Shaikh Rezwan Rafid Ahmad u need medical attention
Those got high Grade not dumbfuck !!!
Hey, how much is 3.3 GPA in percentage?
I loke ur statement cgpa is not everything rather than cgpa does't matter.....
The real thing is to maintain both

"CGPA DOES MATTER" - TRUTH
Yes. Cgpa matters
Expectations vs reality😂😂
Nice facts good score only work in schools but skills is every thing
Dil k sukoon k lye acha ha par reality is different 😂😂
i cant believe i wasted 5 minutes on this.
wow You are bilgat that you wasted five minutes
Same here wasted 5 minutes
You saved my 3 minutes
You saved my 4mins
I agree
-Why should we hire you?
-I got 3.86 CGPA sir....thats why.
Thats really true logo ka mindset kuch aisa hai ki apko sab aana chahiye but industry apko kitna aata hai vo nahi dekhti aap kaise tackle karte ho kya best strategy aap use kar sakte ho vo dekhti hai
Very inspirational... Now I am going to sit last bench and study nothing
hhhhh, study smart.
It's not a fact that only the one with low cgpa has good skills. In fact a good cgpa gives a plus point where majority applicants are skillful!
Misguiding video for both having high cgpa as well as low cgpa.It demotivates those who are working hard as well as making them overconfident who are scoring low as well as not learning any extra skills.
Disliked it.
If u want to do job and get admission into top colleges/University then cgpa is the most important factor
Neha pande cgpa kay sath banday may talented be hona chehay
I think that GPA doesn't matter if you are determined to change, there is always room to do good.
One must be determined and happy. 😊
Exactly bro.
GPA matters but it is not everything. The thing is you have to prove yourself. Our class topper has got 3.95 CGPA but she failed 3 times etea medical entrance exam.GPA lana ka bohat sara tareeka hota but some arent that much talented..Baki samaj to ati hogi.
Say "CGPA doesnt matter" again once you get rejected for interviews because you had 2.99 when the requirement requires at least 3.00.
Well the CGPA only important until that point.. After that its up to ur skills either u will pass or fail after that
Hehehehehe axcha g.....
I got 3.04 CGPA in Computer Science and currently is Game Artist with handsome salary. CGPA my Mango
I am CEO of Apple with handsome salary. CGPA my apple

If only study the things and dont know how to implement them we will be fail. So we cover the things both theoretically and practically
This is good video but it depends on your mind. Mostly students are camming (ratta) and got high cgpa and do not know professional skills. By that cause I appreciate this video.

Absolutely right
Not true. There are high level companies that come to colleges with a high cgpa criteria. So, you need a good cgpa for that.
In pure ENGRNG CGPA 2.5 minimum should be! 😊 to avail Job!!😊
No one would say stupid things as shown in the video. Lol! Why would anyone say that you should hire me because I m a gold medalist, what nonsense! It's like mocking those hardworking guys who studied well to attain that gpa.
You can't crack any competitive exam without the sound knowledge of books. Practical knowledge will not help you in anyway.
Cgpa is very important criteria then you take aptitude test then you available for interview.
Not all people with good cgpa read only books and bad cgpa have practical knowledge. This video should have been uploaded 10-15 years back. You're late.
Gpa and skills both matters
But if u want admission in some repotted University like ICAR for PhD u need a good CGPA otherwise u are not eligible or like PMRF Scholarship for Doing Phd or reasearch so there is different different criteria for different places like For topper also have a criteria I.e without NET exam clear u r enrolled for PhD and get scholarship amount plus HRA

Nice video bro, I like the concept and I also believe that CGPA is doesn't matter
In India Below 4.5 Cgpa Is consider as a fail
ok it means if you waste your time you will become successful and you work hard you will fail in life. great message ...

Ideal student always wins. Ideal mean ideal
This video is giving wrong message at all. The creator of this video has made it with no sense.
Sonu Lohani bro this video tell skill is important than marks
Yes bro
doesnt matter !!
It's just a way to escape problems
Sonu Lohani actually i kind of agree with you because the errors in the laptop can be figured out by the topper as he usually spend his time is read about it...i know i am also not a topper but i dont appreciate this video
TOPPER IS NOT METTER. U R SKILL IS VERY IMPORTANT
Yash Ginoya if you are a topper you will have the skill because you've already studied them. Also at least a topper knows how to spell.
You have criteria first then you can apply for the company.
Jo top Kiya Hain o error dukn nehi saka..aur kohi aur Kar Diya???keya logic Hain???
Topper became sad. In today's world only jobs are given to those who are chosen. If I would be in his place I would hire both of them. If you do not agree then kindly look at the toppers of CSS,PMS,PCS and other competitive exams.
cgpa doesn't matter but knowledge and common sense matters
I got 1 dead backlog 1st year ( cleared that sub) in 1st year
now I'm in 4th year
will i clear the eligibility criteria
will dead backlogs matter in big companies like amazon sde, cisco , microsoft
Cgpa matters but not entirely ❤
If cgpa don't matter than think that why jee exam at least 75% required
The caption of the story is good, but this is not the exact way to describe skills👆
I focused on books a lot of time to get good score but after watching this show it means you wasted your time with theories so can't believe this I will
This cgpa is out 5 or 10?
The video should be titled as GPA matters if you have experties and other interpersonal skills...
Definitely only GPA isn't a demand of any firm, it's basically other skills as well that matters.
CGPA or Percentage is required for
Criteria now a day's if u don't have enough marks the u don't have to go for interview, kafi mehanat lagi hogi ye video banane ko but ye sab bakwas fir se mat banao.. overall performance of artists are nice and make another video with positivity....
Yes in soft eng skills is important than cgpa
CGPA does matter...
An amazing inspiration and motivation to be a back bencher !!!!
CGPA is 60%,skill is30% and other is
is 10%.😅
I found this video incomplete. But cheers to back benchers!
This is not true. Nowadays, you have Pakistan Engineering Council and all the Engineering courses are enforced through it's influence. Also the Engineering studies in Pakistan are now focussed more on practicals. So it's stupid to say that you can't have skills if you have 3.5+ CGPA.
Zrori nhi k jinka gpa acha hy,unky pas koi skills nhi hngi....gpa acha hny ka mtlb ye hy k, wo insan mehnati hy...!
CGPA does matter in most of the cases
This is completely wrong the one who can't get GPA claim that GPA does matter
c.g.p.a does matter and hardwork too thankyou
Well the Topper guy is really cute 😝😝😝
Meri 2 cgpa ha aur banking sector mein achi job mil Gaye ha cgpa doesn't matter guys
To apply Certain companies certain good companies U should have cgpa
It matters it only matters cgpa show your real aukaaat
Wait untill these students hit the corporate life. Phir pta chley ga CGPA matter krta ha ya experience. But again getting degree isba good thing but it isnt a shortcut to higher position or higher salleries which most people think. If you think by doin an MBA or some sort of engineering degree you will get money phir rab rakha. Degree ka faida sirf usko ha jo inventor ha. Not for people like me jo sirf is lye krtey han k paisa bn jaye
I got 3.94 gpain first semester but now my cgpa is 3.5
Message should be not to be book worm, study smarter and enhance your skills practically not theoretically. Thats it
What does the C stand for?
yeh 2.0 cgpa pe kon pass karta hia bhai
This is Reality but not the complete Reality. If you study for only CGPA and degree without getting skills you are just wasting your time Got the Best CGPA + Skills . Because Organization nothing to do with your CGPA they just want to hire the person who generate revenue for them and this is not done with CGPA this is done with skills and experience .... By the way i my self student of Information Technology 6 Semester (CGPA 3.76).
Bhai itni waat lgai 3.9 walay ki
A mazaak a???
