Thank you for the video. I learned much and agree the mall jewelry stores were 3 times more expensive, for a lesser quality stone. I bought my wife a ring and we are both impressed...Her over the brilliance of the diamond and setting, and I for getting it for a great price.
Hey Osiris, do think a person is able to negotiate price down pretty close to the same cost at a brick and mortar jewelry location as you could buy buying online through blue Nile? How much cost difference is there typically if you shop local and show them the price you can get online for similar ring? Thanks!
Hi Osiris, Love your videos. I did bought a diamond in may this year. I follow and agree your recomentation on cut first. I was focus on super ideal cut. I got a super ideal J color sv1 1.71 ct. They show me my stone with other 2.0 2.01 carats stones. I was amazing how big the 1.71ct looks almost identical size. I dont have with me the report, but looks like the diameter is the key here. The relation between diameter and depth. Huge diameter. The stone besutifulllll!! I love it.
I have watched your videos and I will be buying my diamond ring from blue nike. My issue is I know just enough about diamonds to get in trouble. You say you would help anyone pick the best diamond for their budget from blue Nile. Is that true? When the time comes I could really use your help!
Thank you for posting great tips to choose the right diamond. I recently got engaged and my fiance and I were watching your videos on how to pick a diamond. I was able to pick a beautiful oval shape 3-carat diamond because of your videos. I love the stone but the setting came back really messed up. They have beautiful diamonds, but the quality of the setting and customer service could improve. If I knew I have to go through this terrible journey with the Blue Nile, I don't think I would have chosen the Blue Nile though.
Hi!! Thank you so much for sharing all the tips!! I just LOVE the setting with the ring you showed! Can you tell the full name of the setting you have with the ring, please? Thank you so much !
Thank you for such detailed videos. I have a question for you? I have been asking companies like Blue Nile and James Allen to me ASET scope images for diamonds. But they keep saying the jeweller cannot provide this? This is even for diamonds costing around £30k! I was surprised I mentioned this is a lifetime purchase and should be made available. Only think on offer is idealoscope so I can see hearts and arrows. But this is not enough for me to just decide to buy a diamond. Can you help me find the best ring for my proposal? Thank you
Hi and thanks for commenting. Radiants are very tricky. Not so cut and dry, each stone has to be evaluated. On the surface, SI1 is a great starting point for clarity, color I would try to start at the H color. I color is acceptable for this shape. Fort all things other, please email me and I will evaluate or find a stone for you. infodiamondcity@gmail.com
Hello! We are planning on updating my ring! Thinking of getting a solitare 3.5 ct with hidden halo and side diamonds! What color, clarity and cut shoukd i start with?! Budget is 4k-6k def stay under 6k! Thanks!
Hello Osiris I'm looking to purchase an engagement ring in the next couple of weeks. I will be proposing to my girlfriend on Valentine's day. How long does shipping take once you place your oder?
Hi and thanks for commenting. Some stones and rings have different shipping times. I think one week is possible. As you shop for rings typically you can see average shipping times for thew stone. Sometimes it comes faster. sometimes it can be closer to two weeks. Feel free to email me if you need any help infodiamondcity@gmail.com
@@OsirisDiamonds Got it Osiris! I just sent you an email on my recent Engagement ring purchase from James Allen. If I can get your feedback I'd greatly appreciate it.
Hi Donna, I like them both. Its situational, you must evaluate the available inventory. Let the one with the best goods win. Sometimes I find a better deal on Blue, sometimes on James Allen. You have to looks, and evaluate.
Osiris where is the best places to buy a Gia certfied diamond engagement ring lowest possible price do you have some suggestions and your contact information do you.help people select a diamond thanks for all your videos

Hi. My friend has a budget of 300-700$. The bride likes a Big center stone (Square, round, oval or pear) and sides with little diamond. I know the budget is very small. How can I help achieve that on blue Nile 😭😭
Hi! I'm looking to get my ring from Blue Nile resized. Would you know by any chance if it's safe to return the ring via mail or should I get it resized locally. I am worried because I have a engraving on the shank and I will need to resize from size 8 to 7. Please advise. Thank you!
I’ve done a bunch of research on this and pretty much concluded insurance is a must have for an engagement ring. Do a simple google search and you’ll see the options and what they offer. I believe Blue Nile sends info referring customers to Jewelers Mutual. I’m just returning to this video after watching it previously so that may be included in here, can’t remember. But Jewelers Mutual is your best bet. I got a quote on a $8,000 ring for $100 a year with no deductible. The policy literally stated it doesn’t cover “war” or “social unrest” and that was it. If it’s lost, stolen, or otherwise. You file a claim and you’re good. It’s a no brainer for such a small price.
Im in Houston where the flea market jewelry culture is huge. I go there often and most offer natural, cvd, and gia certified stones. You think those gias are legit? I mean 2 of the biggest names down here started in flea markets. Johnny Dang and king Johnny
So I thought I scored a steal on blue nile with a 1.21 carat loose diamond for $4k. It's vvs2 k color triple X Gia cert. But it's got strong blue fluorescence. Now I'm worried about it looking cloudy and dull for my fiancé 🤦🏽 I hope I can return it if thats the case because I just spent 😡🍞
I checked the link and you should be fine. Only a very very small percentage of stones are affected. I would feel comfortable. Of course evaluate your diamond when it arrives as you always have the return policy to protect you.

I appreciate that their packaging is simpler than James Allen, thus less waste

Unfortunataly thats a no :(. Rings alone with side stones without out a center stone cost 700-1000. Leaving no room for a main diamond.
He should save some more money 💰 $300 to $700 bucks is just dinner out on the town type of budget not a wedding ring

I would just send it to them. I want to say they offer that service for free. Its typically an insured package so it should be safe.
talk to us about Insurance. Worth it? Gimmick? What are reputable companies?

What about at a pawn shop?
I would avoid pawn shops. You want to hand pick your diamonds. Pawnshops aren't known for high-quality cuts.
